I'm also stalking Ebay for a mailbag. I really like that style. DH already said he will NOT be carrying that in the park...we'll see about that.

Just ask him to hold it for a second and then don't take it back. That is what I do!

LOL I'm trying to imagine my hubby carrying my Pink Pinwheel Mailbag at Disney...actually picturing my hubby at Disney is hard...although I do have the elusive picture of him at Animal Kingdom...maybe I should frame it LOL!!!!

Hmmm...maybe I will get LL a lobster roll...LOL I'm all about the cheese soup in Canada LOL

I have finally come up with a countdown for this PTR. Yay!

I am going to highlight some of my favorite Disney characters!!

Now I haven't decided what the countdown interval will be because I can't commit to 80 days of Character postings but I will try to keep them pretty regular, becoming more frequent the closer we get.

80 Days until Disney!! That sounds so much better than 90!

Today's character is....

Pollyanna

I love Pollyanna. I think she is a great Disney character. It saddens me that she is not a character you greet in the parks. She would fit in perfectly on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom.

I have two favorite parts in Pollyanna. The first one is when Pollyanna discovers the prisms, I am fascinated by prisms to this day. The second is the bazaar the town has where Pollyanna gets her doll.

I think that everyone needs a little bit of "The Glad Game" in their lives.

The game consists of finding something to be glad about in every situation. I like it LL. The character game! Pollyanna is on reserve for us at the Library... we watched Swiss Family last night, so that is our next movie night choice (not sure if the boys will enjoy)...

I guess you ended up watching Pollyanna before bed last night?
I grew up on all those old movies, I LOVE the original Parent Trap too...I love the whole Bazaar scene in general! I wish Disney prices were still like that, pennys for corn, and watermelon and those CAKES always look delicious!!

The end always gets me teary too, when all the people are downstairs greeting her since she made them all happy and they try and return the favor. Plus, they're headed to Baltimore and gotta root for my hometown

LL! You and I are very similar all the time. I Pollyanna!! Ever since I saw that movie on the Disney Channel back in the day I was hooked. I love Hailey Mills too in all her movies, even when she did Saved by the Bell!

I am glad that I have found my soul mate and we are getting married in less than 2 months!

Yay for 80 days!!!! I love Pollyanna. Actually, when I was younger, I got to meet her at a Girl Scout Retreat we had. It was really cool cuz we got to watch the movie then meet her. And she talked about Walt Disney. Very cool.

Oh I adore Swiss Family Robinson, those are two movies that I don't own. My dad owns SFR so I sometimes borrow it from him. I watched Pollyanna last night from Netflix. Did you know the father in SFR if Haley Mills' father?

I don't remember where I first saw Pollyanna but I love to watch it. I also used to love Vault Disney on the Disney Channel late at night. I watched so many classic Disney cartoons and movies. Oh I loved Haley Mills as Miss Bliss!

Go directly to the library, netflix, whatever method you use for renting movie and RENT IT. It's wonderful. Since doing this post...I have been wondering if my future daughter will dress up as Pollyanna when we got to Disney...forget those princesses. Pffft!

Thanks! I was worried you would all think it was LAME. There are tons of characters. I'd like to try and do it everyday but that is A LOT of work.
