Delicious Bites, Halloween Frights & Character Delights. NEW PTR HAS BEGUN!

I love how you are choosing the non-traditional characters! Merlin is so funny in The Sword in the Stone -- I would love for you to be able to meet him! That would be such a magical moment for you! :goodvibes
I'm reliving my childhood with the characters that I grew up with. :lmao: I already have my next two in mind so you might get two more characters this weekend!

I love Merlin! I'm a huge fan of the book "The Once and Future King" that the Sword in the Stone was based on. The musical Camelot was also based on it too. I can't even count how many times I've read it. I definitely recomend it for a good read. I love the wizards duel with Mad Madam Mim. One of my favorite scenes in any Disney cartoon!
I will have to put that book on my reading list. I have so many books right now just waiting to be read. I hope do some reading thsi weekend so I can catch up!

I love Madame Mim. She is a great character and their duel is great animation!

Hey LL---love your list of characters!!!! SO much fun!!!

I would love to see a picture of the inside of the mailbag if you can do that!!!! TIA!!!
I will try to get that to you this weekend! I have had a really busy week!

Were you inside my head last night?;) Kid you not I was going to type how about Sword in the Stone :wizard:when I was commenting on Pollyanna last night. but I don't have a favorite character in that movie, just fond memories watching it:) And I too watched flight of the navigator much growing up. I got the "best of both worlds":lmao: because I had a brother and all my cousins were boys so we all watched all the girl movies and boy movies, where we avoid princess movies in our home now:confused3 (when DH is home), though my 4 yo is in love with the little mermaid:ssst: don't tell my DH.
Can't wait to see whats next popcorn::
Love your lists, I'm an avid list maker too
:lmao: Too funny! That you were thinking Sword in the Stone too!

I find it hilarious that your little boy loves the little mermaid! Too cute.

Great list! :thumbsup2

I will tell you the Hall of President's was AWESOME! I had never been, they opened it while we were there so it was very special!

NEAT -- even my boys were engaged.
I really can't wait. It sounds amazing.

Great list! What about Buzz? I'm making a list today for MK.

You are going to spoil us with your character countdown and then we are going to bug you to post them everyday.
I don't really like Buzz. I think it's because I first rode it after TSM and it just wasn't my thing....:confused3

Merlin meets during MNSSHP??? Wow, I haven't seen him at Disney since HS (which was a LONG time ago :lmao:)
I really hope to see him!!! :worship:

Enjoying your Character Delights. I haven't seen Polyana or Sword in the Stone in years. Ahh... memories.

Your MK list looks good. The new Hall of Presidents does look interesting, doesn't it?

Merlin would be very cool to meet! I hope that happens for you someday. I love the lists! The afternoon parade is different than the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It. I didn't get to see the parade last time but I did get to see some of the floats during the Keys to the Kingdom tour we went on.

Oooo Sword in the Stone is on our list of disney movies to watch before we go!! I love Merlin, he's a great character! I feel lucky, I got to meet him on one of our trips!! Hmmm I wonder where that picture is?

I love the Sword in the Stone and I love your countdowns!! Thanks to you, I have been inspired to come up with my own countdown idea!!! so THANK YOU!!!!

I really hope you will be able to find Merlin at MNSSHP that would be the icing on the cake!!!

The Sword in the Stone deal would be so NEAT! Why oh why did they discontinue that?! I hope he comes out during MNSSHP for you. And I look forward to your blurry Dumbo shot - you have such a great eye for photography, I already know it's gonna be a stunner. :thumbsup2

I can't wait to meet up with everyone, it's going to be great. I think there will be some great TR fodder with all of these meets! :rotfl2:

Oh ya!!!!!!!!!!

Ok girl, my Netflix queue is filling up fast because of you and your countdown.:rotfl: I have seen The Sword and the Stone, but the kiddos haven't so on it goes.:thumbsup2

I don't know why they discontinued that but I think it was a bad mistake! :rotfl2:

OK I've missed something. Besides the obvious, what exactly is a blurry Dumbo shot?
I want to take a shot of Dumbo with my tripod with a longer exposure on my camera so it appears blurry. Let me see if I can find one of what I am talking about and I will post it later!

Ok girl, my Netflix queue is filling up fast because of you and your countdown.:rotfl: I have seen The Sword and the Stone, but the kiddos haven't so on it goes.:thumbsup2
Hehehe. The kiddos need to see it!

Here's one of those blurry Dumbo pics.... I love them too!

I did photojournalism in high school and was a photographer for the yearbook. I cant remember anything I learned. Our community college has some continueing education classes and I have been wanting to go to cake decorating, but maybe I should take the photography one instead.

I'm thinking a photography class might be in order for me as well. That blurry Dumbo shot as soooo cool!

Oh WOW! That is an awesome shot! I thought you meant a picture on the Dumbo ride and things around it are blurry! Heehee... soooo not what you meant. :rotfl:

I'm going to show that pic to my DS13 and get him to bring his tripod. I hope you get it LL!

Thanks for finding that for me Paula! I really love the blurry photos. I hope to experiment with them this trip!

I really would like to take a photography class too. Cake decorating is also interesting, I've always wanted to do a floral arranging class too!

As an adult, I am just realizing how many of the cartoon shorts that I grew up watching over and over again were Disney. It's truly amazing. All of my favorite cartoons were mostly Disney, I am sure that is not surprising. Today is one of my all time favorites.

Casey at the Bat was released in 1946 and the sequel Casey Bats Again in 1954. The cartoon was based on the poem by Ernest L. Thayer. I have a soft spot for the second cartoon because he ends up having all girls...enough for his own baseball team. I always liked that growing up.

I always ate at Casey's Pre-DIS because it reminded me of all those wonderful memories growing up watching those cartoons. :goodvibes

I'm working on a "real" PTR update for tonight or tomorrow, complete with new hairdo pics! :thumbsup2

OH I used to watch Casey at the Bat over and over again and I was always hoping the ending would somehow change!!!! I was a huge fan of the Disney Tall tales so I really enjoyed all those shorts!

I was at Wal-Mart today and I saw they had Wind and the Willows and a whole bunch of other older Disney short movies...I will be going back and getting them LOL

Can't wait to see your new hairdo!
