45 minutes of cardio and abs today. I slept in until 10:30 this morning and it felt so great after working 5 shows over a 4-day period as both a hair & makeup designer and a stage mom! The show was fantastic and I'm so proud of my son and of all our students involved. However I can't fall asleep now because I'm just not used to getting up so late and I've had a lot of really late nights this week. Oh well...at least there are only seven more working days until Christmas break!

Next up is SING, the student run musical that I am in charge of at my school. Auditions Wednesday...never a dull moment! ;)

Grades are due today for the semester which means chasing down professors. Sadly, I do most of that chasing while sitting on my butt. If I could actually lace up my sneakers and physcially chase after them, I'd probably by well over 50% by the end of the day. I swear, some faculty can be worse procrasinators then the students.

Sounds like everyone is just crazy busy lately! As for me, I managed to sleep for 3 hours on saturday afternoon! WHAT?! :scared1: I did NOT have time for that but my DH always says that when your body needs rest, it tells you. So apparently I needed it. My cold does feel a little better though even if I feel a bit frantic getting everything ready this week.

Managed to do 10 min of leg work on Saturday night, and 30 minutes of abs and plyo last night, bringing me to 270/1000.

Tomorrow is the last of my late night classes, which means no more nighttime walks (my walks are generally to the bus and around the area when I have time before the bus). I guess I'll just have to find some other way to get in exercise!

Woo-hoo, made it to 50%!!! 45 minutes of strength training yesterday. Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah. So I plan to eat my weight in potato latkes lol. Going to my parents' for dinner. Orthodontist appointment for DS9 right after school/work so hoping to get a little exercise in, especially since I'm working late tomorrow for auditions and won't have the time.
 
No walk Sunday but we walked 20 minutes yesterday and then did 45 minutes of Wii Just Dance game with dd.

I'm now at 405/600.

25-minute HIIT workout today. That was all I managed to squeeze in, between taking DS9 to the orthodontist after school, and tonight being the first night of Hanukkah with a terrific dinner at my parents' house and lots of presents for all! It was a very fun night. The boys were happy to open their tickets to the circus this February, coming to the Barclays Center here in Brooklyn! And my sister and brother-in-law got them an R2D2 robot! My kids a Star Wars fanatics and they are ecstatic to have this. It does some cool things, and it even brings you drinks if you want lol. I can't wait to see how it works, and I'm hoping it doesn't spill things, haha! When they opened the box, it looked just like the R2D2 they have made of Legos in Legoland Florida, for anyone else that's been there before.

Tomorrow are auditions for the student run musical so it will be a stressful day, especially after school. Once those are finished, call backs are on Friday but not nearly as many people will be there so it's more mellow. And rehearsals begin immediately after Christmas break. Tomorrow and the week leading up to the 2 productions are the hardest days. But at the same time, I'm so happy it's finally here and I can't wait to see it all come together! We also have a Brooklyn Independent channel coming to film us and possibly making a documentary showcasing our school, showing everyone how SING works and how it is student run. About time large NYC high schools get some good publicity in the media!

So no workout for me tomorrow because of working so late...that's why I made sure to squeeze one in today. Or perhaps I will just do a little yoga or something tomorrow evening if I'm not too tired. ;)

Christmas prep and more kicking my butt! Can't seem to get to the gym. Had an interesting Orthopedic MD appt today, have to change around what I am doing at the gym. Right Knee has serious arthritis( as suspected).. . (I have been babying it for years). First time at an Orthopedic for myself. When my sons were growing up, those visits always seem to be for them.
 
30 minutes on the treadmill last night brings me to 520/1000. Finally at 50% yay!

Missed walking yesterday. :worried: But dd and I did 45 minutes of Wii Just Dance game again. :thumbsup2 My arms are feeling it still a bit. Really gets a great work for them. I put everything I can into matching the foot work. Will try to fit in a walk around the rain we may get today. :goodvibes

I'm hoping to get some exercise in today, but I'm feeling a little worn out, so I don't know how much I'll be able to do.
 
I'm at 850/1575. I'm off work starting tomorrow until the 5th of January except for a few days here and there to do payroll and check in on things so that means I'll either get in lots of exercising because I'll have more time or turn into a lazy butt because I'm off my schedule LOL!

I'm finally learning that skipping lunch breaks and exercise is not infact making me more productive at work. Apparently working more hours does not equal getting more work done (who, knew?)

So for the sake of myself, everyone around me and the place I work. I'm hoping to be more consistent in my lunch-break workouts.

75 minute yoga class last night, brings me to 585/1000. ** corrected my total for previous bad math :(
I am so happy to say yoga is FINALLY getting easier. I think adding yoga 2x a week to my running is really benefiting me. Trying to eat light today. We might go out to dinner tonight in support of type 1 diabetes. My daughter was diagnosed last year, we do all walk fund raising, I figure we might as well do some eating fund raising!
Only 2 days of school left for the kids and then their 2 week Christmas break! I really love having them home with me.
