Hello everyone! I've been MIA so far this month as we got through our Nutcracker performances. All went fabulously, but between rehearsals, 6 performances, and a cast party for 3 dd's I pretty much shut down the rest of my life around this time of year! This year was particularly crazy though, because my Girls on the Run team also finished up their season and ran their 5K on Saturday morning and I took charge of decorating the cast party for 100 dancers and their families. Not my best planned year!!! But, it all worked out!I did get in a little exercise! Managed a 60 minute walk one day, and a 60 minute step/abs workout another day. I'm also counting the 30 minute run that my friend and I did to get more salad in the middle of the cast party last night! That should get me on the board with 150/900. I've enjoyed catching up and reading everyone's holiday traditions! So many great one!! This was our 5th Nutcracker - so this crazy first week of December starts off the season for us every year. Another tradition we have is collecting silver bells. My husband and I purchased our first silver bell together when we were dating. Now, we have about 23 years of silver bells in our collection! Each one different. When the kids move out, we will be able to have a tree entirely decorated in silver bells!

but had to do
and
. This better go away in the next 9 days before our magical Disney trip and no one else in the family is allowed to catch it!!!

my screen name comes from my favorite ride from when I was a kid at Wdw in the 90s.... So that would be the original figment ride. I still love the concept of imagination. Even if the pavilion isn't what it used to be.
) and he moved back to SC. I had a chance meeting with my husband, he was now a school teacher and bartending in the summers, I happened to walk into the bar he was working at - and it's all history from there.
He's since left teaching and is a firefighter. I love being a mom! whoever said boys are easier, never met my son! ha. He really teaches me a lot about myself and how to exercise patience. He is so smart and is ALWAYS looking for the "loophole". My daughter is such a kind heart, someday I hope to be just like her! About a year ago she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, so we are still trying to deal with that. My screen name comes from the love of tinkerbell! She's a sweetie with a little bit " naughty" sprinkled in.
Found out Monday at the Dr. that I have shingles. Hopefully we caught it early enough that it won't be too terrible.
Adding three nights worth of walking -
Monday - 30 minutes
Tuesday - 70 minutes
Tonight - 25 minutes
310/900
I'm married, live in the (deep) south and have three children - two girls in their twenties and a 13 year old son in the 7th grade. One DD lives in NY and is still a seasonal CM in the Magic Kingdom after doing the college program. It's getting tougher for her to work the required 150 hours. My username comes from the fact that when I joined the Disboards, my son was watching Swiss Family Robinson every night before he went to sleep. We all love that movie!
