Decorating your resort room?

We have Michael's and ACMoore and our Michael's is terrible for Cricut supplies-they have only the basic stuff. ACMoore is my go-to place for all things Cricut (and most other crafting supplies). If you Ebay, you can definitely find the Cricut vinyl there and for much less than you'd pay at any of the craft stores.

I will keep that in mind about eBay. I agree about Michaels... thankfully Hobby Lobby here has had better supplies and does better deals. I saw that WTP in now available. I will get that when they do another buy 2. A friend of mine has my Mickey and letters now.

This is from our stay at Pop in May, my girlfriend and I where there from 25-29. We are going again I Oct. for MNSSHP and Food and Wine Festival, we cant wait so we can decorate again!!

The stickers and little disney figures we found at 99 cent stores, the keychains we bought when we where in disney, the stuffed ones we bought from our ones here and the castle was bought at Michael's and we laminated the mickey heads and got some letters and put our names on it, it was actually made by mom for us.

I really dont feel like going through the whole thread, but is there any pics of doors decorated at AKL? Im thinking about maybe putting something on our door and need ideas!

I looked for the window cling paper at Staples, and couldn't find any??? Anywhere else I can look?

BTW, I did find some clings at Dollar Tree, Pooh and Princesses. HTH!! Anybody find any Mickey ones lately?

Our Staples didn't have the cling paper!! I found it at a Zellers (like a wal mart) Sold it, but it was $12 for one sheet! Is that the average price for that paper?? THanks guys!

I bought several packages of vinyl cling at joann dot com. It was on sale for 5.99 for a pack on 9 different colored sheets. They were offering free shipping on orders over $25.

I stopped at Dollar Tree today and didn't see any clings other than Pooh and Princess. However, I did find other disney stuff. They had small figurines of mickey and friends, pooh and friends, nemo, crush, etc that I am planning to place on the window ledge. Also, they had princess, tink and mickey stamp kits that I thought the kids could use to make signs for the window. They are just starting to get in their fall stuff. Since we are going for MNSSHP, I want to get some plastic mini pumpkins to put on the ledge with the figurines. Last year that had Christmas disney clings, so I am hoping for halloween/fall ones this time.

Hi everyone...I am new to the board but have to say what wonderful tips there have been on here. We are going on our first ever trip in Sept, staying at the All Star movies, we have two rooms booked. I have been busy trying to get the window decorations ready, "borrowed" some Mickey heads from the local HomeDepot and made everyone name signs and been to the $$ store about a hundred times looking for something more to add. Just wanted to say HELLO and thanks to everyone for all the tips. Can't wait to get to Disney with the kiddies.

We just got back from a 2 week stay at POP and I had brought some window clings with me. My youngest DD thought it would be fun to decorate our window. Well, she arranged her stuffed animals in the window and then decided to apply the window clings. She put them on the outside of the window.........
SOMEONE STOLE THEM
......the next day 1 was missing and then the day after that another went missing. After the second time I moved what was left to the inside of the window. They didn't look as nice but at least we still had 1 princess and 2 flowers.

Can you believe that? I guess it must have been kids but would you let your kids steal from someone else right in front of you?

That is horrible... I read that something like that happened on a cruise too, where it was taken off the door the last night of the cruise. Its a shame people have to be like that.
