Decorating your resort room?

ok... I am suppose to be there the weekend of the 12-13 or at least the 13.. not quite sure. If i do that, and my other trip falls into place... I will be there 3 weekends in a row can we say Disney Addict?

I love the idea about the mickey heads on the door for thers to sign. Does any-one know where i can get something like that in the UK as we don't have any HD's??

We drove last time so this wasn't an issue but we are flying next time and using ME...I was thinking about putting all my decorations (including lights, extension cords and timers) in my carry on so I don't have to wait for my luggage to arrive @the room to decorate! However, I am worried TSA may question above mentioned items?!?!? Anybody have any experience with this???

I've been reading the posts for a while now about decorating resort windows and doors and I've decided to do mine when I go in Sept. I'm going to start gathering things now (the lights sound like a great idea!) so that I have something to do , since it's a bit too early to start packing! Thanks for all the ideas and pictures. Wish me luck!

Re the shipping decorations !I did that in 2007 and worked great, also shipped other stuff like sunscreen, snax etc!!

I think I posted the comment on another thread accidentally, but we are getting an ACMoore south of me. Have heard others say how nice they are.

I stopped at Michael's yesterday and they had no idea what I was talking about regarding vinyl for Cricut. Forgot to check at Hobby Lobby when I was there. I bought the last of the castle things for the window to send to someone. Next time I go past I will check and see I guess.

We have Michael's and ACMoore and our Michael's is terrible for Cricut supplies-they have only the basic stuff. ACMoore is my go-to place for all things Cricut (and most other crafting supplies). If you Ebay, you can definitely find the Cricut vinyl there and for much less than you'd pay at any of the craft stores.
