Decorating your resort room?

So how long do most of you go for that you are decorating for??? I mean, I cant understand for just a couple days... at least not to a major extent.

Usually 1.5 weeks for us, but we would decorate if even just for a few days! It's soo fun and I get so into it! It's always a great way to settle into the room on our first night.

I feel naked not having my door or window done up. I have to at least put up one thing to get in the DIS spirit.

LOL... I just have to drive under the property entrance gate and I am in full Dis spirit!

Just curious we will be visiting the resort from Sept 14-23. We will be going to MNSSHP and wondering if it would be to early to decorate our window in a Halloween theme?? I realize I can do it if I want just wanted to see what everybody thought? Thanks in advance~~

I don't think it will be to early. Disney will be decorated for MNSHP.

The window decorating bug bit me last year. This year we'll be making another December trip to WDW and I intend to decorate not only our resort window but inside our room too! I'm trying to think of ways to embellish on what I already did last year. Hmm, better put my thinking cap on now. December will be here before I know it.

We'll be at the CBR in november and plan to decorate our windows. We wont be celebrating a birthday, anniv, or a holiday.. just happy to be there!

Disneymommy Michele got me started on decorating the room this year I had 1 window with Tink for the girls and 1 window with Mickey for DGS, Next year I will be there in Feb so the theme will be Valentines. I already have red lightsfrom my Mickey window( bring an extension cord) Another TIP buy lights after a holiday when they are half price!! I used a message board last time too Got a few notes on it and a few LGMHS signed!!

We are here at the Carribean Beach Resort now...and this is my first time staying here and my first time that I have decorated the windows of the room. We got a wonderful corner room and so I was able to really decorate the windows nicely. I will take some pics of it tomorrow and are we allowed to post a link to them for others to see? If so then I will do that tomorrow for everyone.

Its a very pretty resort by the way

Good Morning

Spent some time over this holiday weekend preparing my December Disney trip decorations. I made Mickey hats with everyone's name on them. Lots of Mickey heads. I put magnets on some of them. I am going to make snowmen with Mickey hats on too.

I am so excited about the room and window decorating. We are going to Disney on Oct. 6 and I was wanting to decorate our window for Halloween. We are staying at AKL for the first time. Does anyone know if you have a big window in your room at AKL? We usually stay at the values and I know those rooms have a big front window to decorate. Thanks
