Deck 6 vs 7? and Cat 5 vs Cat 4?

Getting my ducks in a row for tomorrow and trying to decide between a 5D or 4D on Deck 6 or Deck 7 on the dream/fantasy. We have kiddos who will use the kids club so I thought it would be convenient to be on Deck 6 to run them down, not to mention a little cheaper!! Any noise issues coming from the kids clubs up to Deck 6? Or should we just go to deck 7?

And then the big choice - Cat 5 vs Cat 4? We are a family of 4 so we don't "need" the extra space, but sharing a queen bed with my husband is a generally a recipe for a crappy night's sleep for me. Are the beds a true queen or wider? We have a king at home and we are spoiled! The idea of having my own murphy bed to sleep in is very appealing lol!! I don't want to regret not having spent the extra couple of hundred bucks at 3 am one night. The catch is we'll also be cruising with my MIL and FIL and SIL and BIL and want adjoining rooms. So us getting the Cat 4 kind of forces them into Cat 4's too. My oldest has had seasickness issues before so being mid ship is a priority for that reason too. Thinking a lower deck might be better for her too?

Thanks!

I don't know what category we were in, but we were in 6666 on Dream. It was terrific for kid's club purposes (so close to the stairs!). No noise.

If you want the extra bed, get the extra bed.

We found the difference in the size category 4 and 5 are huge.
If you are looking for a Murphy bed you need to find out which staterooms have them and request a specific room number. Disney will only tell you that the room can accommodate the people in your party.

Thank you, I did not know that!

I know I'm off topic, but I can't help but want to sing, "6666! The Stateroom of the Beast!"

Sorry. Channeling the Iron Maiden fan of my youth.

Some category 4's sleep 4 and some sleep 5. Category 4's are 299 square feet on the Dream/Fantasy and Category 5's are 246 sq feet. Big Difference. We have two teens and we were not happy in a category 5 after knowing what we gave up in the category 4. We now only book 4's
