I currently have a one-bedroom savanna view booked at Kidani Village. I have been considering moving to another resort to cut down on my budget so we can add a tour onto the trip. Now my options are:

  • One-Bedroom at Kidani (Savanna View) (Most expensive)
  • Two combined rooms at CBR
  • Two combined rooms at POFQ.
  • One-Bedroom at OKW. (Least expensive)
This trip will be made up of four adults, meaning we need a minimum of 3 beds and we prefer two bathrooms. We will be relying on Lyft and park transportation for this entire trip.

What would you choose?

I would go with the One-Bedroom at OKW. It's a lovely resort and you'll all be in one room. With either of the 2 room options, there's a chance you won't get connecting rooms or even be close to each other.

Reading your signature, I'm guessing that you are 4 "single" people (no couples?) If you choose CBR or POFQ everyone will get their own bed, and you'll also get the two bathrooms that you want. I would choose POFQ over CBR because like Dansdad says, you aren't guaranteed the rooms will connect and POFQ is a smaller resort; so no matter what you won't be TOO far away.

Not all of the 1-bedrooms at OKW have two entrances into the bathroom. If you're ok with that possibility I'd go with OKW.

As PP mentions, they will not guarantee you connecting rooms, so there's a good chance you will not get that at CBR or POFQ. Last trip, we had rooms next door but they were not connecting. If that's ok with you, I'd choose one of those resorts. With CBR being larger, I'd say you'd have a better chance of getting rooms in close proximity there. I agree that the two bathrooms and additional space and privacy would be nice for four adults.

Are there one bedrooms available at AKV that are NOT savanna view? I ask because you could save some money while staying at AKV if you can change the room type.

OKW is a fine option and has more space than AKV would in a villa. We just don't care for the theme as much.

I would go with OKW given your travel party and your transportation plans. Plus, who doesn't like the least expensive option? :-)

With OKW you'll have one king bed, one queen sleeper sofa and a twin sized sleeper chair. All are okay for adults. You'll have two bathroom sinks in different spaces, but only one toilet, one shower and one tub. You'll probably want to request Turtle Pond or South Point to get the door through the laundry room into the toilet/shower room so the two sleeping in the living room won't need to walk through the master bedroom.

Two of us don't mind sharing a bed, so we will only need at least 3 total.

I am travelling with a discount. There was a standard view available, but it was only a $150 savings with the discount so we thought we may as well.

The two bathrooms is really just to expedite getting ready in the mornings so the two sink areas would be more than good enough. Thanks for the room tips! I didn't even realize that they are arranged differently.

Pofq is a smaller resort, easy transport as there’s one bus stop. It has the boat to disney springs which is a lovely ride day or night. You can request connecting tho not guaranteed and/or just place that your a group and would like near one another. All disney resorts are good about this and we ve had very good luck at Pofq.
If it’s a savings I’d easily chose it without hesitation for ur adult group. Two rooms, four beds and of course the bath/sink areas in each.
If by chance ur in a separate building,( which are so close anyway) just ask at guest services and they ll help as best they can. I think you ll have no issue.
Was there last week , never even saw guest services lol. Checked in online, arrived by 930 am and rooms were ready by 10 andcwith magic bands.. straight to room and off we went to the park. Awesome!
Wherever u stay... enjoy!!
