I switched my room only to a package w/dining and 6 day park hoppers last night on the Visa deal. 2 adults, DS 17, DD 14 @CBR December 23-29th. Original price would have been 3193.00, with the Visa cardholder deal it is 2585.76. WOO HOO!!!

It's my understanding that the dining is not discounted. Is that they way you understand it as well?

I saw at the top of the main Disboard page that there are now Annual Passport Resort Discounts from 10/1 - 12/23 (Code FBZ).

Well, as soon as I saw this, I called to see if the rates were available for WL from 12/1-12/9. Alas, they were already gone!
I even had them try only some dates with idea of possibly splitting up the reservation between the AP discount and my AAA discount, but it just wasn't there!

I guess I'll just have to keep an eye peeled for more discounts, and try later.

If you have the AP, you might want to try calling as soon as possible, since this code seems to be going fast!

I am Disney Visa holder and called CRO and was quoted the same price that I was getting online without Disney Visa discount. When I question the CM I was told that the rate included the discount. What am I missing.

I just called CRO & I was also unable to apply the AP discount to my concierge room at AK. The CM did say I could get YC concierge at a discount but nothing else & it was only $200 over all. Not bad, but I had my heart set on the sunrise safari & it wasn't worth giving up for that. I asked if they were released or already gone & he seemed to think that since they were just released today that they had not been released for all resorts. I thought I'd try AAA while I had him on the phone, but no luck there either. I guess I am going to have to suck it up & pay full price.

My savings on a split stay during the month of December essentially 'filled in the gap' between the purchase of MYW tickets vs. another purchase of an AP. This basically ensures another visit (or two) sometime next year, so it worked out well for us!

I got the AP email yesterday and there is a blackout for discounts (AP room only) for December 5-8. I've never seen this odd blackout, so have to assume that the resorts are filled during those days (Tuesday to Friday). I'm thinking Pop Warner. This may cause a problem for alot of folks. If this happens, folks should look into a split stay to at least get a partial discount. Good luck. Of course the few days around Thanksgiving are blackedout too, and the AP discount is only good until checkin on 12/23.

I got 244 a night at Poly December 14th through the 18th. The fiance isnt sure he wants to go again (blah blah blah ) But with such a good deal at the Poly I said I'd go by myself or take a friend. He didnt like that. Plus, I havent been there at Christmas so I need to see the decorations.

I tried all EPCOT deluxes for those dates and everything is filled. Don't know what's going on , but I chose the following week and there was plenty of availability.

I converted my existing reservation from the MYW w/ dining, 2 courtyard rooms at WL to the new code. Saved $648 for 8 nights on 2 rooms. 12/19 to 12/27. However, I called before 8 a.m. and I actually tried to get a woodsview to save another $360, but as we were putting it in the computer she told me there was then only 1 room left at the woodsview price.

Wow - did they really run out of rooms in 24 hours?! The people on these boards are a small percentage of Disney travelers...surprises me...
