December code watch???
We are going to Disney December 1-9 - how can I be notified or sign up for disount codes on rooms? Do I need to book our room and then if a code comes out then change the reservation? Appreciate all the help!

You don't really sign up for a code. The codes are usually announced and then you call Disney to see if there are rooms available at whichever resort you want to stay at using the code. They set a certain number of rooms available with the code. The rooms can go pretty quickly at some resorts, so you should plan a back-up choice or two. If you watch here, I'm sure you'll know when the next code is announced. But Mousesavers.com is another great place to find out about codes.
Yes, you can book a reservation now and then ask to use a code once it comes out. I've done it a few times. Although I've never experienced not being able to apply the code to a reservation, I'm sure it's possible that they could use up all the rooms that the code can be applied to and then you wouldn't be able to apply it to yours.

I received my Mickey Monitor and there is no mention of codes not even the current ones for September in it.

Yep, that's my Boston, Maximus, he is spoiled rotten! Your Boston is really cute with the glasses on. It's hard not to spoil something so cute.

I think I just read that codes public codes in December will be released on the 19th. Might be off by a day or two.

Even though we have ap for all of us...I still saved money and upgraded to a sav view from a poolview at AKL. I was able to do the one day one park ticket. Poolveiw was not available.

What Disney Visa deal are you referring to? I just checked the website & I didn't see anything for Disney World? I also checked Mousesavers & didn't see anything for December.
