December at ASMo

My family will be at ASMo from Dec 4-12. Are we going to get bombarded with the Pop Warner kids and the cheerleaders? If so, is it bad enough to warrant a change in resort? Any help would be appreciated.

The majority of Pop Warner participants stay in the values. They usually have to fund raise for their trip so stay at the least expensive. I have seen a few groups at POR not enough to be any problem. I think you've got a big chance of seeing them if you stay in a value at that time.

We had ressies for the same time period-Dec 4-7 at ASMo, then Dec 7-11 at Poly GVC, but after all I've read, I ended up switching to WL for Dec 4-7. This is our first trip, and although I KNOW my 2 DD (ages 5 & 8) would LOVE ASMo, I don't want to take chances on experiencing similar situations that I've read about-kids running up & down the halls at all hours, pools being very crowded, bad language being used, etc.

To be fair, some people have written that they stayed in the Love Bug section and didn't have as many problems, except for the food court being crowded in the morning.

I was there Dec 3-8 last year and dont recall seeing any pop warner groups. If they were there, and I didn't notice, then they must have blended in with the other guests. I would think.....and I am probably wrong... that Disney would encourage the large groups to stay at ASMu or ASSp since they are not as popular as ASMo.

We've stayed at the All Star Movies three times for the first week in December, and we've never had any problems with the Pop Warner kids! The food court was not overly crowded in the morning when we went to get some breakfast!

We were in Love Bug once and 101 Dalmations twice. Both times, our room was very quiet - we never heard our neighbors!
