Have we actually ever decided if we are doing T-shirts - Laynards or what for the cruise meet? Oh yeah, I think I was supposed to ask my son to come up with some picture..... guess I better ask him.... never mind...

I'd gladly get one...helps when you're traveling solo.

Hi! Joining the thread now although we booked this cruise onboard our last (and only) cruise. Haven't really been doing much planning until recently, but we have flights and pre-cruise hotel now, so its time to start thinking about excursions. Its just me and my mom, so two active adults. Anyone have plans yet for any of the days? Doing only Disney excursions or anyone branching off independently?

:welcome: So happy to see all the new faces joining us! (though I still love the old faces too! ;) )

We haven't done much planning yet, though our booking date is fast approaching, so I guess we'd better! :scratchin
Personally, we like doing the Disney excursions, because we feel safer that we won't get left behind....three cruises ago, our tablemates wandered off on their own and didn't make it back to the ship. The Capt. delayed an hour, but we ended up sailing without them. Just the night before the wife was poo-pooing my rationalization as to why we pay 'extra' for a ship's excursion. Just my two cents, everyone has their own feelings and it's all good!:goodvibes

:welcome: We haven't planned anything yet. We have done non cruise lines tours in the past but I am always worried about getting back to the ship. It comes down to comfort level. We will probably book a Costa Maya tour through DCL since the time we are there is so short, doesn't give me the cushion I like with booking independent. Cozumel, I usually stay on the ship and Mark likes to do the cooking classes. Grand Cayman we have been to, not sure what we will do there.

I am also thinking of doing the cooking class Salsa & Salsa. Love to eat chips & salsa.

We love the cooking classes too! Both the ones one the ship and the excursions! We've done one in Cozumel, what funIt was!! Possibly doing it again!! Grand Cayman is probably gonna be a pool day!

I have booked this cruise. It will be me, my SIL & my daughter who will be turning 16 during the cruise. She had mentioned to me that her best vacations were the ones on DCL. So, I will be surprising her with this cruise for her birthday. Haven't decided what story I am going to make up.

We usually book on the opening day & this is very different for me. I guess the advantage is the cruise is just around the corner. :)

Welcome. I wish it would come sooner but then that would mean it's over sooner :(

I've just taken banana and choc chic muffins out of the oven and it smells heavenly! It's 2.39pm and the kids finish school soon so I'd best sneak a few for myself before they get home and demolish them :)

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. It's Monday for me and I had a nice weekend.

Well Happy Monday Morning:

Hopefully it will be a good day here at work. At least the sun is shinning today, (of course, it is its a work day, the weekend was overcast and rainy) :confused3 Oh well the rain is working wonders on my garden, my tomato plants are really growing and my peppers already are getting lots of flowers on them, so should start seeing peppers soon.:thumbsup2

Not much else is going on here....

have a great day...
