December 7, 2013 - Winter Fantasy Cruise

DH doesn't want to do a Palo brunch but I would like to. I don't want to eat by myself so if anyone is interested in a 'spare' tagging along I'd be happy to oblige Or if someone is thinking of a group brunch perhaps? On a sea day though.

I'm not an overly fussy eater (I just don't like pork but I will eat bacon and ham, I know, it's all the same thing really) and I do have fairly decent table manners (I do sometimes forget the rule about elbows on the table). I do like to take lots of photos of food and my surrounds.

We'd love to have brunch with you...I'm not sure we'll see much of Emma outside the kid's clubs anyway.

I would like to try Palo brunch myself - hoping something is open at 90 days but not holding my breath.

last cruise I was able to book on line at 90 days with no problem....unless the Fantasy fills up faster

I think it would be fun to have brunch together, Mary Ann! We had brunch on our first Disney cruise and it was wonderful. Just have to make sure it doesn't interfere with the character breakfast. This is our 4th cruise so I think we're still in the 90 day zone. I'd say the more, the merrier too!

I know the Magic had a seperate room, does the Fantasy? I think it would be fun....

Ok, I'm thinking I should be ok for the cruise. Talked wtih daughter yesterday, the military is not very cooperative...to say the least....I really should know more by the end of July, but the military doctor cannot promise anything or even give her a straight answer on this at this time....she would need to go up the "chain of command" and talk with her superiors
so the wrost that could happen is that they will enduse on her due date....so I should be ok....

This military life has been a thorn in my side for 14 years.....I am not really complaing (ok I am) but what my daughter has given up, what Wally and I have given up....over the years....and you ask one simple thing of them and its like asking them to give you a million dollars..... So again, I just have to grin and take what they want to give you...which is a lot of nothing...

Oh well.....I guess I better start thinking of paying this cruise off....

So it looks like a group reservation would be the ideal thing. That would be lovely. Talk amongst yourselves and come up with a day and just book me in then let me know later A sea day, though

But consider what wonderful benefits your family are giving back to the country by the way of service My DH was in the Army Reserves here (I don't know what the US equivalent is, but it's like regular army but part time) and luckily he never got sent away overseas like others we know did, but he would have liked to. Some of his friends went to the Solomon Islands and Rwanda in peace keeping roles.

My cruise has been paid off for ages but we've still got a long way to go for other aspects of our trip. Fortunately our airfares everywhere are paid for and some of accommodation We may just be having to eat at McDonalds for much of our trip but at least we can get to places and have a place to sleep

We are going to see Despicable Me in a week or so. Has anyone seen it? I'm taking DD and some of her friends as I got a preview pass - four people for $20 to raise money for a hospital charity

I really dont think there is a menu...at least I dont remember ever getting a menu for brunch. They just walk you around the food stations and bring you where the hot foot is cooked but I dont think there is a menu, but like Chuck said, you will not walk away hungry....tons of choices....that is the part of the cruise I really look forward to....

So lets see if we can get us a group table for brunch...
I can keep the list of who wants to join us.....
For the cruisers who have already been on the Fantasy, do they have a seperate room for larger parties at Palo?? If we get enough people maybe we can request that room...
