Some advice needed would I be able to make it to my 8:40 ADR at cape may "I will be using my own car" from Hollywood studios we will b leaving after fantasmic so around 7:45 we should be in Parkin lot they close at 8pm that night on a Friday if I don't make it to that ADR I would head to t Rex cafe
I am trying to switch my cape may add at 4:30 on my mvmcp day so I can be at mk earlier so I have 1900 park fare @ 4 pm on my mvmcp day
ADR are giving me a headache

I have yet another dessert party question: for my first time seeing Wishes, do y'all think I should see it the traditional way (from Main St.), or is it better to see it from the Tomorrowland Terrace?

We'll only be in MK for one day of traditional Wishes fireworks (plus one night with MVMCP fireworks, but I don't think I wanna give up so much time in MVMCP to attend the Wishes party).

Ok, I have an idea for you... LOL. Rent a MK double stroller and go to Main St. Bakery. Buy a ton of treats, put them in the stroller. Find a spot to watch Wishes on Main Street and roll your dessert cart up to you. :p

Can we be added to the "arriving Nov. into December" list, please? We are going Nov. 29-Dec. 4th. That means we're in the double digits club now! Very excited:)

No experience with the parking lot but it's super close so once you're out, I can't think it will take much time to drive. You can walk it in under half an hour. With a 6:30 Fantasmic I booked a 7:30 at Flying Fish. A little tight but we should make it.

Welcome! Another Nov-Dec traveler. I am racking my brain to figure out what 'BC' is.

I just booked another ADR! The Tonga Toast and Kona coffee were too much to resist, so I booked a breakfast ADR for 8:50 on 12/14!:cool1: I'll keep scouting for earlier, though.

We are offsite, driving a rental car. What would be the best/most efficient way to get to the Polynesian? Should we park in the MK parking lot and take the monorail (will that be available before park opening?), or should we park at the Poly and then drive over to MK afterwards?

My MIL will think I am nuts. She thought the purpose of staying offsite was to eat at the house. I can't help that all of the food I am seeing on the TR's are looking so good! :cloud9:

So the little things in life make me happy... I am easily please by simple shiny things most days....:rotfl:

On that note - I found out that I can have my food stored at OKW while I wait for my room to be ready. This is awesome for me. So on Friday when the kiddos are napping and we are checked in at AKL I can go to Whole Foods and get my groceries! This makes Sat AM breakfast easy, but now I don't have to go to the grocery store on Saturday! This made my day... Possibly even a few days.....

Good afternoon guys! We are in a tropical storm warning by me (South FL). Fun times. Just hoping we don't lose power, but have the generator ready if need be. So if come sometime tomorrow into Monday, I am not around here due to loss of power---I will be back as soon as I can to update the Roll Call.

Our trip is booked for 12/10-12-20! For the first time though, we'll be staying off property at a condo in Windsor Hills and our party consists of me, my partner, my 21 year old daughter (it's her birthday trip and a break for her before her grad school auditions monopolize the following 2.5 months, and my 18 year old son! if he can make it.
I've visited every Disney oak in the world except Hong Kong and adore the Paris park at holiday time- this will be my partner's first ever trip to the FL parks. We'll spend a day at Universal (I already feel like a traitor:eek:!), but we just can't miss seeing the Harry Potter section!
As of today, it's 107 days!!:santa:

Batten down the hatches (where does that come from? - ships? Anyway - Stay safe - I'm sure you've stocked up on water and food.

When we lived in SW Florida a friend of mine took a pillow, a bottle of wine and a bag of M&M's into the bathroom (no outside windows) during a hurricane warning - woke up 3 hours later. She had slept through the entire storm - she had a slight headache but of course the pressure change during a storm can do that to you. :rotfl:

Stay safe Tofu!!! DH loves the weather channel so we will be watching the storm come in this weekend.

Haha, yes, indeed it does. Batten, being a piece of wood, to hold down covers and such over the hatches as they were open/ventilated.

Yeah, I know a lot of 'stuff' but none of it is useful :rotfl: I'm the one that everyone calls when they have a trivia night :p

Stay safe Tofu! We'll all be thinking of you x

Whereabouts are you in NE Ohio? My hubby is from Warren, Ohio. We're doing Universal/IOA for the first two days of our trip too....then checking in at POR on Dec 10th. WWoHP is why we are going there too!

Oh nuts! My dad and I were supposed to be at the Kona Cafe then, but I was forced to move my ADR to another day. The rest of my crew wanted us to wait for them to arrive in Orlando so they could eat at the Kona too.
