Ok, with my ADR window opening in just over a week, I'm in full on panic mode trying to finalize what ADRs we want. I am always wanting to try new restaurants, and my DH has certain ones he has to eat in EVERY trip (Biergarten...sigh), so it's a balancing act.

Has anyone done the Clam Bake at Cape May? Any reviews? Is it fun? Good food? Worth it? I don't eat seafood - but the other 3 adults in our party, and both children, love it. Are there some non-seafood options for me?

And I know I have seen this debate come up before, but I figured I'd ask here ... Boma or Sanaa? Unfortunately, whichever we go to will be for dinner, and in December that means it will be dark and we won't really see any of the Savannah I imagine - just throwing that out there in case view is one reason to pick one over the other. We have never eaten at either.

Is this from a bounceback? I had spoken to a CM who said they basically never have PINS over Christmas & New Year's.

I've actually seen a small number of people post that they got a pin good through 12/20 with no blackouts. By far the most common one was the one with the blackoutdates though.

Oh my goodness, we would never drive to SPI b/c it would take as long as Pensacola or Destin! We just love the "feeling" we get, being in Florida We will be heading back to Pensacola in a couple of months (even though we're not going on to WDW) and it's just amazingly beautiful! We've only been to Destin 1 time & decided not to do it again, because it didn't cut our drive time to WDW down any further than Pensacola. My BIL & SIL absolutely LOVE Destin. He's a big fisherman, so he couldn't get enough of Destin. I will say Florida panhandle beaches are UNREAL. The sand is literally white & the water is a beautiful blue/emerald green. It's breathtaking! NOTHING like what we're used to in TX. You should give it a try...you'll be hooked! If you can go in the off-season, you'll save a fortune. I've also heard great things about Gulf Shores, AL, which is very close to Pensacola.

I love Gulf Shores/Orange Beach AL. We typically go at least once a year. Water is beautiful as long as there isn't a hurricane somewhere in the Gulf churning up the muck.

It's completely random...so they say.

Suggestions to get Disney to notice you--

1. Register for a Disney account on their web site. Sign up for the free DVD on visiting Disney parks. If you have a partner, do one for him/her too.

2. Make sure you are logged in, and do a search for a Disney vacation during the time you are hoping to go. Get all the way to the point you would possibly book and save the potential reservation. You might find an email in a couple days with a pin code.

3. Make sure to check your spam email to make sure Disney's emails do not go there.

We're booking our resort tonight...it looks like it is going to be All-Star Movies. I was pushing for AofA but I just can't win over my 10-year-old son to a Little Mermaid room.

We finally got the refund from our September trip all straightened out so we're going to rebook. We had paid with 3 different cards but they only credited a portion to one card. We had to call several times to get the rest taken care of! But, it all worked out and now we're happy to plan our Christmas trip!

Dec 10, here we come!!!
