**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

We will be staying at All Star Movies 11/30-12/07/2012. We have never been to Disney in December and are really looking forward to all the decorations and lights.. And just excited to be going back to Disney!

I've actually seen a small number of people post that they got a pin good through 12/20 with no blackouts. By far the most common one was the one with the blackoutdates though.

This is the problem though, none of them go PAST 12/20. Not very helpful for those of us going after Christmas.
Not sure it matters for us now though, because I already bought our park tickets through UT.

I highly doubt you'll see a discount past 12/20. If that's what you're waiting on, then I'd start looking another direction.

Suggestions to get Disney to notice you--

1. Register for a Disney account on their web site. Sign up for the free DVD on visiting Disney parks. If you have a partner, do one for him/her too.

2. Make sure you are logged in, and do a search for a Disney vacation during the time you are hoping to go. Get all the way to the point you would possibly book and save the potential reservation. You might find an email in a couple days with a pin code.

3. Make sure to check your spam email to make sure Disney's emails do not go there.

We will be there 12/2-12/8!! Never been there but I know my kid is going to love it!! Toy Story is 1 of his favorite movies ever!!!

EeyoreJen, in addition to what Tofubeast mentioned, you can also call Disney directly to see if you have a pin. Sometimes, they don't send out any notifications and the only way to find out if you have one is to call.

Since the free dining pin code has come out and some have received it, I called to see if I had any pin codes. At the time I didn't and I would call once a week to check. When I called two days ago, there was a pin code for me. Unfortunately, it's not free dining, but I was told it's not uncommon to receive another pin code back to back once the initial one expires (which this one does on the 23rd). So I'm going to call on the 24, my birthday, to see if there is another pin code.

In this case, I didn't receive any notification via snail mail or email. I had to call to find out.
