is it September 4th, yet I am so ready for school to start.

I start school on the fourth too woohoo! Sadly my kids are way too young not for another year and a half for nic to start preschool.

Just booked a holiday sleigh ride on Dec. 16. We will be going on the sleigh ride and then eating at the Artist Point :)

I'm probably the only one that's really disappointed about this, but I'm totally bummed about the Splash Mountain no longer staying open for evening EMH. I realize because its cold almost nobody wants to go one it after the sun goes down, but Splash is one of my favorite rides, and I have some great memories of throwing on the pancho and going on it over and over, essentially walking to the front of the mountain from the exit with very little line after dark at DLR with my nephew. Supposedly the Florida version is even better, and though we'll be going on it during the day and using FP's, I was also looking forward to the night experience with little to no lines on the 3rd and 10th. Oh well.

Maybe it'll remain open for MVMCP for those of us that like it in the dark. Also, at least in December, it gets dark fairly early so, absent huge lines, riding in the dark might still be possible.

I hope they are taking this opportunity to make some repairs and return it to EMH, at least during the warmer months.

New to this thread wish I'd seen it earlier !!! 108 days and counting

What are your dates/resort so I can add you to the Roll Call?

It should be open for MVMCP. It will also be dark by 5:45 or so, so she will have some chances in the evening.

Just booked the new EPCOT Segway Tour, which was announced yesterday. Anyone else going to give it a try? I've never been on a Segway, but I can't wait to try this!

I already have the old tour booked so I'm waiting to see what's different/special about this one. What time did you book? What were the options?

We have a 7:45 start and it's 2 hours. I really don't want to give up another park hour, especially not to eat at Sunshine Seasons. I'm already worried about managing Soarin that day.

I hope you're right about Splash Mtn and the time it gets dark. We didn't get to do Splash Mtn (or Kali Rapids) last time cuz it was too cold. So this trip I want to make sure I can rely on MVMCP for Splash Mtn as a back up.

And for the darkness, we have the Candlelight Processional at 6:45 our first night. And I think it will look better, the darker it is.

Wow... Now that I put both CP & MVMCP in a post with our Double Digit day right around the corner... I'm getting even mor anxious. Well, in for a penny, in for a pound... Osbourne Lights :hyper: :woohoo:

I was looking forward to late night rides on Splash too!! And it amazes me that they are trading it for Tiki Room. Umm... not the same. Oh well, like others have said it will be dark by 5:30 in December so there will be time to ride it in the dark.
