Sweet your girl is in for a nice surprise!! This will be our MVMCP (and WDW at Christmas), so we are super excited too. Sounds like you have another great trip in the making!

EDIT TO ADD:

Check out this thread for vegan eats at WDW: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=36756070#post36756070http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=36756070#post36756070

Nice! Definitely going to check that out. I am not vegan or vegetarian but on average we eat 1 meat meal a week at my house (I am a sucker for cheeseburgers on the grill) I love seeing new ideas for options and will check this out. I noticed our last trip it was amazingly easy for me to eat less meat (minus lunch when I split something with someone) However, I don't think I could ever be vegan - I really love cheese... :)

So is this all a part of Enchanted Tales With Belle? I'm trying to figure out how everything will fit in. Will it be a "tour" of sorts where we start off in Maurice's cottage then go through that mirror? I'm a visual type person, can you tell?

My understanding is that it's part of the belle Meet & Greet. Wonder if I could convince DS10 that we need to meet a princess. ;)

That's awesome. You'll have a ball.

Make sure you update on Phatoomch's spreadsheet, in her signature, which party you're going to.

Oh I'm on the spreadsheet. I had always planned on going, just finally committed. :goodvibes

Thanks! I'm vegan, so we wanted to do some restaurants that seemed to have an option already (so that I wouldn't get stir-fried again). Liberty Tree Tavern has a quinoa patty that sounded pretty great and Whispering Canyon has a quinoa dish, too.

We loved 'Ohana for breakfast last year and had a really nice meal at Sci-Fi, too, so we knew we would do those again.

I picked 50's Prime Time Cafe because I read somewhere that someone had their best vegan meal at WDW there. I know it totally depends on who is working at the time (and how they feel), but I figured it'd it be worth a shot. My partner chose Coral Reef solely on the fact that we'd be able to watch fish swim around.

And Be Our Guest because...seriously.

Thats what I love about Disney, that they really cater for different diets. I don't have a diet as such but, I try to avoid as much highly processed food as I can so I love that I have huge choice of fresh cooked meals. I can't do 'fast' food - I cook from fresh everyday and rarely eat fast food, my system just can't take it. I hear some say the food isn't that great I have to disagree!

Your plan sounds great :)

I didn't read the tips on here but I started dialing this morning - took me two hours JUST to get anything but an engaged signal. I very nearly gave up (mostly because my fingers hurt from hitting redial, end, redial, end). Once I heard that magical sound and I was finally through (at 2 hours and 6 minutes) I waited on hold for a further 50 minutes. The end result...I got the reservation I wanted exactly - 12/23 at 6.00pm. :dance3: Totally made my day!! :)

Don't give up everyone...just be prepared. Congrats to everyone who got the ressies they wanted and good luck to those that are continuing to try.

Got the exact same reservation by calling DVC when they opened at 9am, Monday morning. I can't wait to eat there.

subbing! My name is Cathy, and with me will be DH, DD-13, DS-11 and DS-3. We are so excited to be spending our first Christmas at Disney! A little nervous about all the negative Nellies out there "you couldn't pay me to go to Disney at Christmas..." but we are keeping our expectations grounded, and will have excellent touring plans! Any and all advice welcome! Right now we have 2 rooms reserved at All-Star Sports, but are considering the cabins or a suite at AoA. I cannot wait!!!

Congrats to everyone that got ADRS for BOG! I didn't try,I figure we will try and stop by for a lunch.

Today I called and applied $950 worth of gift cards to our balance and we are officially paid off!!!!

DOING THE HAPPY DANCE!!

breakfast at 1900 park fare 9:45
scifi at ethier 3:15 or 4pm
trex cafe @ 9

my kids are picky eaters and get hungry at night time
just wondering if its a lot for a day

We will arrive on November 30 and checking into Saratoga Springs until December 3. We will check out of there and into Bay Lake Towers from December 3-10. This is our 5th time being there during the holiday season. We love it and can't wait to be there. Please add us to your list.

For those that have a Kroger nearby, they are currently offering 4x the fuel points on gift cards (til Sep 8th) .... a good idea would be to buy your Disney gift cards from there - either for spending money or use them to pay off your balance - and get money off your gas :thumbsup2

I hope everyone has gotten their BOG ADR
I did see on the website today , if you got a ADR today the 21 and didn't give cc you will need to or it will be canceled .
I'm so happy I got the date n time it did take 70 minutes or redialing but from what I seen people go thru it wasn't that bad

We had a day where we were planning on doing three TS meals, but ended up backing it down to two. Three was just too much. Someone did the math for me, and said that if we did three TS meals, we'd be spending five hours in restaurants within a 12 hour period, which seemed crazy to my friend and me. So we're doing two TS per day...usually breakfast and dinner (one day we're doing lunch and a late dinner).

This is what we are doing too. The only day we have an exception is when we do fantasmic. I have the early breakfast to get in to the park then mama melroses early afternoon for lunch and a late dinner at sci fi after fantasmic. Although, if the hours change and HS opens at 8 that day we will cancel the breakfast. I think having the breakfast and dinner gives you a chance to rest and get in the parks early but a ts lunch could mean you have to get out of line at a ride or character to meet the schedule and I just think its too much hassle and too restrictive.

We're actually only doing 2 TS meals on one day - an 8:10am Crystal Palace and an 8:30pm Rose & Crown during Epcot EMH. All other days are one TS or zero. And that's more TS than we typically do. Generally we don't like to do TS in the parks except Epcot because it takes too much time, and its too much food. I'm still worried about too much food But I thought my in-laws would prefer to sit down more often.

How's THIS for a revolting development.....Dec 12th was the only day I could get a BOG reservation for dinner......wanted to go the day before, on our MVMCP night but it wasn't meant to be. Anyway, we have a 4:45 dinner ADR and a 2:25 LeCellier lunch ADR less than 2 1/2 hours earlier. On the upside, I probably won't overeat ;)

I tried searching for an earler Le Cellier but we all know those are hard to get and there isn't anything ATM....maybe at the 45 day mark lots of things will be opening up!

We're on the Deluxe plan but that is so we can take advantage of the 2TS meals.

3 meals can be a bit much but yours are pretty spread out - its more about the amount of time they take up, I mean, in "real life" we'll sometimes eat 3 meals a day. :)

okw2012 -- Thanks for the temperature information!

Tltorrez -- I had heard the BOG was CS for lunch, but I didn't put 2-2 together to realize that meant no reservations! lol, I feel dumb. Thank you for telling me though, I'd really like to try the lunch menu.

Nickle831 -- Congratulations on paying your trip off! I'm working on my balance now; we are on a strict budget for the next two months. :thumbsup2
