I know, I know, it is not even December 2010.

Sadly to say, the last time we visited Walt Disney World was in 2003 - too long ago. We went in December but only had 5 days and felt we ran a marathon. This time, we are spending 11 nights so we can take our time.

Two years ago, we were in California for our nephew's wedding and went to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park and loved both - especially California Adventure. Ate at Napa Rose - very nice.

A litte about us.

Me - I am 49, an RN and like to read and travel. I have a tattoo of Pooh and Piglet on my right lower leg.

My DH is 52, he works in internal IT at Comcast. He likes to read, travel and is a proud geek - who loves all gadgets.

We have 2 girls who are married. We have 2 grandchildren - Ben who is 3 months old and Erin who will be 17 next week.

We live in NH. My DH is originally from here and I am from NY. We just celebrated our 25th anniversary and renewed our vows on the Celebrity Millenium somewhere between Seattle and San Francisco.

When I originally made our reservations, I made them at POFQ because someone I work with said he thought it was the best moderate resort. Then as I was thinking about it more, we are staying for 11 nights and want sit down restaurants, etc. I changed our reservations to The Wilderness Lodge. It was between that an Animal Kingdom - but chose the Wilderness Lodge because it will be beautiful at Christmas and it has more transportation choices than AK.

I also go the Deluxe Dining Plan.

Our first night, we will check in early and tour the Lodge and spend some time in Downtown Disney. Although we loved La Nouba, we have already seen it twice and will probably skip it. If anyone can suggest the best place to eat there, I would appreciate it.

The second day, we will head over to Animal Kingdom - that is the last park we were at and my DH wants to start there.

Our next day, we will spend at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Then, Epcot and the MK the following day. That is probably when we will do the Very Merry Christmas Party so we can sleep in a little.

The next 2 days, we will play it by ear. We want to tour all of the other resorts and take pictures. We have never seen any of the resorts.

Then we will do all of the parks again.

Would appreciate dinner suggestions:

I am not fussy but my DH is allergic to shellfish and is a bit on the fussy side.

So far the restaurants I am drawn towards:
- Le Cellier
- Coral Reef
- Artist Point
- California Grill
- Via Di Napoli
- Chefs De France

I would appreciate your opinion and other suggestions.

We also would like to spend a few hours at a spa - any suggestons?

We are planning a Dec. 2011 trip too! It's never too early to start planning! What are your dates? I think you picked some very nice restaurants. We are going to try Chefs de France for the first time this summer and I can't wait! The Wilderness Lodge is beautiful! You will love it!
