December 2011 Code Watch!

I would assume it would be only for those listed dates, but remember, I was only looking at December dates. Maybe this pin is available for November, but the pin seemed tailored to my searches.


I called and they said it was for all resorts. I checked rates for CR and they did have rooms for this pin.

I just got off the phone with my WDW CM and tried to use Halloweenqueen's information regarding a 30% discount because it covers most of our nights at the ASMo.
The CM could NOT find any codes for that discount, so maybe it's already off??
I'll keep trying ................

This is our 1st trip! dec 30th-jan5th...Few questions. do you get a better deal if you stay in moderate vs value? Or could it be possible to get a free dining code while staying in a value resort. If a code comes available, How do you use it?

I am a bit confused. I would really like to get a pin for just a couple of those days. (I am currently booked, but considering booking a split stay)... you are talking a pin, right? In which case if you didn't have one associated with your name... it wouldn't matter if Halloweenqueen had one or not. (so it may be a current offer for her... but not for you) I don't think there is a public offer out for those dates. Or... are you just calling to see if you have a pin and the cm didn't see one for you..

With lots on my plate right now... but still trying to sort out the details for our December trip.... I am just hoping I didn't miss something.

I gave my TA the pin code and received the discount for our December dates. The "saved offers" trick really does work. I've had success two times now.

Just go to disney.com. Remember to log in to your account and make sure everything is accurate. If you don't have an account, make one. Or even make one in your dh's name. Put in some dates and make sure you look at some deluxe resort offers. Save these offers. I even briefly "talk" to the webchat box that pops up. I've received pins both times shortly after doing this.


There was/is a long thread about doing this "trick". It has worked for many people in the past.

Worth a shot.

I hope something comes out for those dates. Those tend to be blackout dates for offers because that's the same timeframe as POP Warner but hopefully something will come out for you!

Generally they are all different pin codes attached to people's names. They do that so you can't share your code. You can call & get the CM to check & see if a pin is attached to your name, you don't have to give them a specific pin number.

I'm not discouraged....there's usually a promotion during November on ABC for some type of resort discount. In all the years we've been going I think only about 2 of them had us with no resort discount of some kind.

I just called Disney to see if we had a pin code. We do, it's a resort only discount and only for the summer - bummer . I was told that the December codes haven't come out yet. When they do, it would be emailed to me.

I do have one question though. If you already have a vacation booked and a pin code comes out, can it be used towards it?

Yes you can as long as that discount is available at the resort you already have booked! I've had to switch resorts before to use a pin but only 1x.

There is no problem adding codes after you make a ressie. I've switched my past reservations several times. Just be aware that the pin codes really dry up after you make a reservation. You can always apply the general public codes as it gets closer.

I do have to point out that there are several offers for December out currently or from earlier in the year. These are not general offers though.

As far as any offers for December, I haven't seen any yet. The only one we did get expired Feb. 28 and we weren't ready to book yet since our vacation bowling league was still going on. Our league ends next week and anytime after that we can book our vacation.

I had planned but not booked a Disney vacation (All Star Music) for December 16th-18th of this year. I received a pin code in an email in my spam box Friday, I almost trashed it without reading it! It was in small print in the bottom right corner. When I called in about it, I was told it was for 10% my entire vacation package including rooms, tix, dining plan. I was STOKED! Ok, I know 10% isn't a whole big bunch, but I have four kids so any penny saved is a penny earned! I booked my vacation that same day.

Anyone else had any luck for December? I just called and was told I had nothing and that nothing would probably come out until August. DH won't let me book until we get a discount of some sort, but for the dates we want, we need to book dining soon. Ugh.... I want to go SO BADLY! LOL
