We're waiting for the same thing. We got the pin code offer for December 2011 that expired on 2/28 but couldn't use it (unfortunately ). We're part of a vacation bowling league and we can't book until June at the earliest (our league ends 5/29). So now we're left waiting and hoping for some for another discount to come along for 12/2-12/11. We're planning on staying at CBR in the POTC themed rooms.

December is slim pickins for bounce back. I booked Dec 2-3 at POP Preferred room at $78 per night weekend rate. The rest of the week is blacked out, so the next night is $110 which is rack rate for a Sunday preferred room.
78/120 = 35% discount
I booked this from my AKLV room on Sunday April 10th by calling x8844.

It's Pop Warner week. I was worried about that at first b/c we're planning Dec 2 to Dec 10 or 11th. However, this time we are staying at a Moderate resort. When I called Disney, I asked about Pop Warner week and was told they use the Value Resorts and only use the Moderates if there isn't enough room. I don't know how often that has happened though.

Pop Warner is given a choice of values and one moderate for discounted rates and packages. For the last several years they have been at ASSports and PO Riverside. Remember, that PW families do not have to go with the designated hotels, they can book anywhere and will be everywhere else in smaller numbers. We are going to be at Pop Century 12/2 to 12/5, then move off site to visit my sister, then move back from 12/7 to 12/12 staying at a DVC resort, right now Saratoga Springs, hoping to change to Old Key West.

The 2011 Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer & Dance Championships will take place from Saturday, December 3rd through Saturday, December 10th at ESPN Wide World of Sports™ Complex.

My son's High School marching band will be performing at the Gator Bowl on January 2 in Jacksonville. I thought it would be a great opportunity to plan a short stay at WDW since we will be so close. Of course, the week we would be there has to be one of the most popular times to go. So, I am expecting nothing in the way of a discount but there is always pixie dust for those of us who truly believe, right?!

Has anyone else gone the week after Christmas through New Year's? I am waiting on specific details from my son's band director before booking, but I probably won't wait more than a week or two. I know that it is an extremely busy week. I would like to try POFQ for the first time. We have stayed at CSR and CBR before.

It would be a TON cheaper to start your trip with the Gator Bowl, then do WDW afterward. I know they would probably have to miss school that way, but I would do it in a heartbeat. My kids miss a week of school for vacation every year and still get straight A's. Just saying that might be a good option.

We're actually going on Christmas Day - we'll pack Christmas Eve after the kids go to bed and then surprise them Christmas morning. Santa will leave stockings and a few gifts (all stuff for the car journey, obviously) and then we'll hit the road and check in late Christmas night. Hopefully the roads won't be too busy. Now if I can just keep it a secret until then!!!

I've never been at Christmas. Is it as wonderful and magical as I imagine it will be?

Good point about a meal, but we will probably just try to pack the cooler and keep on moving. We'll have Christmas dinner on the 26th somewhere wonderful...I can't book dining until the end of June. Suggestions??

I'm planning on Santa leaving some new movies and new games for their DS's and Leapsters and will hope those things keep them occupied during the trip. Plus, all the Christmas cookies they can eat!!

Ok, the new GP FD offer has me excited! I realize it isn't for our dates but it reenforces my hope that it will be extended thru the end of the year again!!

So, 1st one announced, now to wait around for July or so to hopefully see a December discount! Since we decided to upgrade to CR if something is released, I'd even be happy with a 40% off our dates. FD would still save us about $300 more than that, but I'll take either!

Help me understand. I am booking two preferer rooms at the POP for 12/1-12/12 at @ $1043 per person. This is for room and 10 day php. What type of discounts and or free dining might I be pixie dusted with?

I SO wish they would come out with the December discounts. Right now I have 35% off moderate, but it has to be from the 11th-18th (sun-sun). The cheaper flights are thurs-thurs. I know I am planning so early, but it sucks to know you can save money on flights but not know if there will be a Dec discount (i.e., FD).

$214 RT will save so much money with 5 people! I would be lucky to get less than $300 any other time.

The only thing that is keeping me going is that I am hoping for decent costs through SW so we can get bags for free .

I got the same PIN - 35% off mod, beginning 12/11. Why cant you book from the 15th to the 22nd? The pin would still be good, and you could get your thurs to thurs flights?

Oh I wish I had that pin. Its not a pin. And the dates were specifically Dec 11-18. Of course I could stay shorter time but 8 days in my minimum. Maybe I should call to see if there is a Pin now!

I got it back in February, I think. Yes it was also good for 40% off Deluxe.. The dates started 12/11, I can't remember when they ended... Let me see if I still have the email..... Here it is! Yes, I got it on 2/22.
