December 2011 Code Watch!

My parents got that email as well back in February but it expired in March (a week before they went to book ). I hope something comes out for them again. Right now they're booked at POR. They want to upgrade to the Poly, but aren't willing to pay rack rate for it (who is? ). We're (my bf, me, and my little dog too) staying in a motorhome at Ft. Wilderness so I think this is the first year I won't be desperately searching for a code (for myself anyways! ). I just love WDW around Christmas-time . We'll be there Dec. 3rd-14th. Can't wait!!

We are going Dec 2-5. Do you think we'll be eligible for a discount or free dining even if we are only staying 3 nights?

We are planning on Dec. 18th - 22nd. Hoping for something. We are really looking to try a Deluxe resort if the money works out. We stayed in the CBR last July and it was great. If the money doesn't work out, CSR might be the alternate.

I can't book our flights until Sept either way, hopefully we can still get a decent price @ 3 months out.

But I don't believe that any deals for Dec. will be out until midsummer, probably July or August.

I'm getting married at WDW December 1 -- I sincerely hope Disney will release hotel/dining discounts at that time. Goodness knows I could use it!

Lucky! I wish I had a pin. How does one sign up for pins? I've looked it up on these boards and I hear it's all magically random. How lovely.

I used to get pins when we went to WDW often. We moved to WA and only received DL pins since.

I saved a couple of offers on the Disney parks site, mostly deluxes a couple of days ago. I received this pin the next day. It even stated...hey, we noticed you might be planning on visiting in December....

Go to disney.com and make sure your account information is current. Then put in some dates and save those offers.

I would assume it would be only for those listed dates, but remember, I was only looking at December dates. Maybe this pin is available for November, but the pin seemed tailored to my searches.


I called and they said it was for all resorts. I checked rates for CR and they did have rooms for this pin.
