December 2009

Emma,

Just found this review by chance, I have read others in the past and wanted to tag along. Keep it up you always take great pictures!

ok that hot chocolate looked amazing, it made me want chocolate so badly, but I've given it up for lent!! I adore Paris in the winter time, it's so pretty and scenic! Oh and last time we were in Paris I remember getting really annoyed at the fact the Louvre was closed on a Tuesday too, it's such a weird rule!! Can't wait to hear what you thought about DLP! :)
Ps how did you find Spain? Like it?

Great updates Emma, your Paris photos are just beautiful! Reading about how much fun you had there REALLY makes me want to go back. :goodvibes

Can't wait for DLP! :yay:

What gorgeous pictures of Paris! All of the buildings are just so fabulous! And don't even get me started on that hot chocolate....I am a HUGE hot chocolate fan and that just looked heavenly. I am so excited to hear all about DLP and see some pictures.

Great update to start my morning :goodvibes On my trip to Paris I had hot chocolate also (in July but who cares ) and it was DELICIOUS but I didn't get two separate jars like you did. The chocolate sauce looks so yummy!

Can't wait to hear about DLP!

Young lady..I am digging your report!! BEAUTIFUL photos of paris..love the posed mia pics..so darn cute! I cannot wait until the DLP portion...I have never been to Europe..but this is certainly helping me realize that i MUST go there at some point! :)

Wow! All of this European food is really getting to me. (I still need to make Banoffee Pie.:goodvibes) The crepes and hot chocolate look fantabulous!

Beautiful pictures from Paris.

My favorite part, however, was the stop at Le Quick. I would have done the same thing had it been in my high school French book.:lmao:

Oh my, that hot chocolate looks divine! :cloud9:

Once again, fantastic photos. Can't wait to hear about DLP!

Goodness, Emma. I think I could comment on every single picture. :goodvibes Paris looks incredible. The picture of the sun poking through the Eiffel Tower is simply gorgeous! And I agree--Paris architecture is snobby fabulous. ;) Oh. My. Word. That hot chocolate looks amazing! I would love some right now. And the rose window at Notre Dame is beautiful. I'm excited for you to visit DLP, but I'm sad that the Europe updates might be over...

Emma, I totally understand the frustration about the Louvre being closed on Tuesdays! I am a theatre girl, and I spent my whole life waiting to get to New York, and when I finally did I only had 2 days! My friend and I tried to go to one of the museums too (I don't remember which one, I just know it wasn't the Met cause we DID go there.) and it was closed on Tuesdays too. I found that to be the most absurb thing.

Loving your reports, as usual! :)

Your pictures are so pretty! I need to get up the guts to take a lengthy flight and go tour Europe!

That hot chocolate looks like HEAVEN to me, yum-o!

I am amazed at how natural it has been for you to be away from your family, in a whole other country! My husband might be getting transfered to Orlando (this has been a on and off again deal for the last year, first its a definite yes, then they say he is too valuable up here in the DC area- I wish his company would make up their minds!!!!!) and I am so scared to be away from my grandma. I guess it is because I lived at home until right before I got married, like 2 or 3 weeks before, and that is only because I was urged by my family to move then, that it would be easiest for everyone, and I never went away to college, so I don't know what it is like to be away from home...

Once again, these updates just get better & better! I have got to get some of that magnificent hot chocolate, and...better yet...I've just got to get myself over to Paris! :lmao:

Can't wait for DLP!

Mmmh, those are the most mouth-wateringly gorgeous pictures of a cup of hot chocolate I have ever seen! I could imagine enlarging these and putting them up in my kitchen

I also love your photos of Paris, it really makes me want to go back there (although maybe not quite in the cold of winter, if I can help it ...).
Come to think of it, I have never yet visited Paris with my husband - maybe we should go there and bring a little lock to one of the bridges, what a romantic custom!
(Or hang on, did you say it could be just any bridge in Europe? Then I could just go outside and walk a couple of hundred steps but somehow that doesn't strike me as quite so romantic :rotfl:)

great updates Emma! All of your pictures are really making me want to see Paris - it's always been in the back of my mind, but reading this has really made my want a need! haha

Three wonderful updates! What a dream trip... I'm having so much fun reading about it!

Next up, DLP! Hooray! :yay:

Just getting around to reading your TR. It is fantastic. Can't wait for more!!

Love the pictures of Mia around your hotel. The hot chocolate looks amazing. And I agree what luck to come to Notre Dame when the sun was setting. So pretty.
