December 2009

I can totally agree with the attitudes of the CMs and what not at DLP, I've always been somewhat ashamed that they are as bad as they are.. and as for queing, most definitely a mainland Europe thing, it's such a culture shock for us Brits when we go, we love to queue!!! I hope it picked up a little after the initia first experiences, you get used to it after a while!!
Did you ever walk to the parks? I love the walk from the hotels, it's so scenic and you get to walk around the huge lake with the balloon!
Ps I adore chocolate churros too!! :)

I love seeing Disneyland Paris. For some reason I'm amused that you all came from the US to stay at the Hotel Cheyenne.

I never saw a Disney bus while I was there...but I never went further than Disney village and the main disneyland paris park. i thought people were rude in Disneyland Paris too...but I did not really notice it in Paris though.

You had on winter coats...so did we....IN FLORIDA in FEB 2010...LOL!

DLP! Yay! :woohoo:

Emma, if you're looking for a bit of light TR reading, could you possibly look at my PTR? Link is in my sig!

Oh, how's college life treating you? I start college next year

Unfortunately some people can be a little rude at DLP. :( As Laura pointed out further up, it's quite the culture shock for us Brits too! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to more. :yay:

Love the Western references, I have also toured the FL parks in Winter clothes, although not the type I need to wear in WI.:rotfl:
Very interesting TR............

Disneyland Paris!!! How great of you to post all of these pics and info. I am sure I would never get to see it at all until we finally do travel to Paris. Thank you :worship:

Rude CM in France? What a shocker :snooty: HAHA

My kids would love the western atmosphere. It would be like staying in Frontierland!! :thumbsup2

Such an amazing TR!! Can't wait to read more :goodvibes

I'm loving the DLP pics so far. It's still so strange to me to see snow and winter coats at a Disney park!!!

oooh, the first DLP uupdate! I loved seeing how different it looks! Although I do agree, it is so wierd to see people so bundled up at a Disney park!

I think the western street views are awesome! If I were a boy, I'd be in heaven. Oh the games that could be played!

Also, like the mickey head top on the toiletries! heehee.

You finally made it! :cool1: Great update, and one that I was really looking forward to. Unfortunately, I can't see photobucket pics and work, so I am presently void of all the great details.

Thumbs down for all the rudeness - especially of the CM checking you in. I think you really appreciate the Disney magic more when it is so obviously absent.

Anyway - I can't wait to get home and see your pics and hear more about all your great adventures!

Oh my, your commentary on the hotel theme and decorations is hilarious! :rotfl:

Keep it coming!!! :goodvibes

Pictures viewed - very interesting. For some reason that is not how I expected the hotel to look. Not sure why. The one thing I noticed is how small the TV was. Can you imagine a TV that size in the old US-of-A? There would be a showdown at the Cheyene for sure!

Yay! You're finally at DLP! Sorry it didn't quite live up to the Disney expectations... Our new "friends" on the bus to the MK cracked us up when they told us about how unfriendly the CMs (and people) were at DLP. "Sit down. Shut up. Enjoy your ride." :rotfl: I'm hoping it gets better....

popcorn:: I am loving your trip report so far!!! The very first trip report I read was the shopaholic TR by Soleil, and I remembered when you and she met at the world, I was so excited when I stumbled across this TR. I have been furiously reading through your previous TR's. You do such a fantastic job!!! I aspire to write TR's as well as you do. Thanks for sharing your trips with us! Can't wait to read more!
