We'll be at DHS on 12/6 too!! we hope to be there pretty close to opening, but we have ADR at 1900 Park Fare at 8am. Sci-Fi for dinner! Hope to see you girls there!

Okay, so we should TOTALLY find a time and place to meet up

We'll be there from around opening time until around lunchtime. After that we have to go back to the hotel and rest up for the Christmas Party.

We plan on being there as close to opening as possible (have to get those TSM fastpasses ASAP ) We should totally try to plan a time/place to meet up. Anyone have any ideas?

i don't know how long breakfast will take!! They should start serving at 6am so we can be done and get in line for our FP for TSM!!

i'll have 2 small kids with me...there is no way i can say for sure i'll be able to meet anyone anywhere. darn kids ruining my DISbride meets!!

Help December Brides!

I just found out that I seriously underbooked my room block for my Dec 4th wedding. I still have a few nights available for the night of my wedding, but I did not consider how many people would be coming for a few days before or a few days after! And now the resorts are filling up, if not already completely booked!

If anyone has a few nights available in their room blocks on and around Dec 4th and needs help filling them up please let me know. It could help out my guests and you at the same time!

Help December Brides!

I just found out that I seriously underbooked my room block for my Dec 4th wedding. I still have a few nights available for the night of my wedding, but I did not consider how many people would be coming for a few days before or a few days after! First did you call or email Anaeli and ask to add more rooms on? I was able to do that for my Dec 14th wedding. You might still be able to make changes but I am not 100% positive.

Second don't panic there are a TON way better deals out there then the DFTW discount. Check out wdwinfo.com for them. My grandmother was able to score a $96/night at the CBR just 2 days ago and DFTW wanted $133 (includes taxes)!

Also since I am Dec 14th I don't have anything that early. Mine starts Dec 10th-Dec 16th.

I am shocked, its value season, but there doesnt seem to be anything available anywhere. She promised to let me know if anything comes up though. My friend is trying through travelocity, but they are already pretty booked too.

Oh WOW I am shocked! That's crazy! Now I am wondering how it will be next week for my wedding. Most of my guests have booked but I have a few more that still need to and now I am wondering what they are going to get.

Pop Warner International Cheerleading Competition - it's our week....i think from 12/5-12/11 or something like that. won't affect the parks too much as the kids are in competion all day long....but it does mean the hotels sell out quickly. Also if you looked at general codes for that week,,,,90% of them were blacked out for our week too!

The room block does guarantee a room up till one month before the wedding, then the blocks 'expire' so disney can still try to sell those rooms. I have several for the night of my wedding, its just hard getting anything for the days before or after. I wish they had told us about those huge events back when we were making room blocks! I might have risked adding more!

dclhoney10 - I completely agree! I almost couldn't book my FMIL & FFIL at CBR but I still had 1 room left for the nights they needed so I was all set but now that means that I have no more for before the wedding for the few remaining guests that still need to book. They should tell us about these things so we can account for them and our guests since we have to have the room block done a year in advance. Most of my guests didn't know where and for how long they wanted to stay until about a month ago.

yep, totally sucks. I hope things work out for you! One of my guests was able to book a room at Lake Buena Vista Palace for a great price, but she had to surf her way through their website to find the good prices. Even off property places are filling up fast.
