December 2009 Brides?

Yay!:woohoo: Congrats to all of the brides and welcome newcomers! I know I'm biased, but I think December is the best month to get married at Disney...the decorations are just SO beautiful!!

So when is everyone doing their theme park photo shoots? Our MK photo shoot is Dec. 23 at 5 am :scared1: That's a scary time, but I'm super excited for it!

We're doing our EPCOT shoot the morning of the wedding at 9am, I'm super excited to get pictures taken in World Showcase :cool1:

We're doing our Epcot shoot that morning too! Our's is at 730am thought. we'll should be leaving as you enter!

Welcome Everyone! I am so excited. We are confirmed for December 17th at 10 am for Sea Breeze Point. :yay:

Congrats to all of us!

our photo shoot is actually before our VR, since the VR is on the cruise and we are doing WDW before. kind of bummed, but not enought to cancel the shoot. :rotfl:

Nice! It would be cool if we could see each other in passing, but I doubt they want two brides wandering into one another. What pavilions are you using? We doing the UK and Germany :thumbsup2

Are they pretty strict in only allowing pictures to be taken in 2 sections of Epcot?

I don't think so as long as you stay within the alloted time they allow for the photo session. I think I've seen photos from brides who ended up in a lot of the pavilions.

Japan for sure, maybe france or UK.

Nice. I've seen some from France but I don't think the UK and Japan get used as much. I look forward to seeing your pics!

Hello Fellow December 2009 Brides & Vow Renewers! :santa:

Just checking in to say hello. Is anyone adding any "Christmas" aspects to their wedding/reception? I was considering adding just a little sparkle at Sea Breeze Point...:surfweb:

Cool, my meeting is with her in a few days. I will make sure to bring it up. How did you prepare for your phone call with her? What is discussed during this meeting with her? Sorry for all the questions :confused3

We talked about flowers for the ceremony, cake cutting, reception and DP, petal toss etc. Also table linens and other centre pieces. She asked if we were doing a sand ceremony or something similar. She books extra photography and videography. Plus if you want any room baskets, so it covers a lot. Oh and cake flowers if needed.

Have you looked at their website:

This is where they get table linens from:

I am! My theme is Christmas! Here is the description of my bouquet:

18-24 mixed Black Magic, regular red and white roses, Green Hydrangea Bluperum, Hypericum Berries, Silver Dollar Seeded Eucalyptus, Lycopodium, magnolia leaves.

My ceremony decor will be a bunch of potted pointsettias, they will also act as my centerpieces at my reception dinner.

Here is the photos I sent to the florist and my cake ideas:

Awesome! Did you send your photos PRIOR to your meeting with Disney Floral or afterwards? Thanks.

My wedding is taking place at the Swan (saving me an arm and a leg, LITERALLY! :rotfl:), so I sent them to my coordinator through JustMarry after I decided to go with them. My coordinator has done all of the work through the local florist on my behalf.

If I were you I would send them prior to your meeting and if you are meeting in person, also bring along copies. You can NEVER be too prepared!
