You can rent a DVC ressie eleven months out from your checkOUT date at the member's home resort. In other words, sometime in January 2008.

Between now and then, you need to get your vacation dates firmly set, go to school on DVC and DVC rentals, and then get something set up with someone who owns at the resort where you want to stay. A DVC rental is nothing like making a hotel ressie, so you need to do a lot of homework.

Just so you know, December is the busiest time of the year for DVC, so you need to be making ressies very early.
