There's still a little time to join our class before I take everyone's ticket orders, so don't be shy......SIGN UP AND JOIN US! :thumbsup2

We have the Fantasmic package on that day and we may not be doing park hoppers... (adds up when 9 people are going!) I am calling now to see if I can get it for the 13th...

There's nothing else available... but since we are not on the dining plan and paying OOP, I'm sure most people will be happy to skip the table service and save some money :) My husband has been wanting to check out Pizza Planet.

I am interested with my daughters gr 5 & 9 (in Sept) We dh, me and dds are booked for Dec 10-17. I had hoped for open enrollment but would love to know more about this!!

How does this affect existing reservations with tickets/free dining etc?

Thank you!!

LOL! Well, saving money is always a good thing. :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Hi briabbysmom, and welcome!

If you're part of a Y.E.S group, it would probably save your more to book everything separately, especially if you have a discount code to use for one of the WDW resort hotels. Of course, you'd be paying out-of-pocket for the DDP, but you'd be saving on your hotel and of course on your themepark tickets. You would need to do the math and see which would be more economical for your family.

If you wanted to keep your current package (which already includes your themepark tickets), I believe the cost to participate in the Y.E.S. program is $26 per child.

We'd be thrilled to have your kids join us, and hopefully not only will they have a fun learning experience at the Magic Kingdom, but it could save you a little money too. :thumbsup2

I think we would just pay for the experience - can we pay for the adults to join as well?

I have two exceptionally excited teenagers!!! Thanks for getting this group together!

There can only be one adult per every 5 students, so if everybody (20 including your 2 children) who is interested participates looks like we can have 4 chaperons.

Thanks! If one of us (DH or me) can tag along great - we'd love the experience too, if not the girls will be fine together. What great opportunity! It is a 3 hour program right? Also - is this at MK? We had planned this as an Epcot day and we don't have hoppers (we have an Epcot supper ressie) so I will need to do some juggling :) Of course - the tickets through y.e.s. are much cheaper with a hopper - but I'm not sure about the dining plan still being available.

Thanks for putting this together - I don't want to sound ungrateful or high maintainance - just trying to figure it all out fast! :) I had looked into it (actually open enrolment) for the experience and to save $ but we've decided we just don't want to give up our dining plan (and I understand to get the free DP or to buy the DP you have to have both tickets and room reservations?) Or is there something I am overlooking? We are booked Dec 10-17 with base tickets and DP at CSR.

We'd love to cut costs, but not the dining plan :mickeybar- I know we won't pay oop to go to the restaurants I have booked with the dp.

From what I have read from other threads, you would still have to but MYW tickets to get the free dining. You could just buy the minimum required which is a 2 day pass... that might still save you some money and then you will have tickets to use for another trip...

Yes, great advice! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Is the minimum a 2 day MYW ticket per reservation for them to still get the free dining.....or would she need to buy a 2 day MYW ticket per person in the party?

Also as a reminder to everyone who will be purchasing YES tickets... These tickets CANNOT be altered in any way. You cannot add days, add park hopper or add anything else to them. No changes can be made to these tickets. They will only be valid 7 days before and after the class. That would be from December 8 until December 22, 2010. Please make sure this fits your plans before you commit to purchasing any YES tickets.

She would have to get the 2 day MYW tickets for each person in her party 3 years old and up.

I figured that was the case, but thought I'd ask. We've never had the opportunity to get in on free dining, so I wasn't quite sure about the rules. :goodvibes

This is absolutely correct. I was going to post this in everyone's PMs about ticket orders, but brios86 helped me out and posted it here in the thread. Thanks for posting that! :thumbsup2

Good Thursday morning everyone. :beach:

I thought I would update our class list. We lost a couple of students due to some scheduling conflicts, but we still have a very good size class. :thumbsup2

My son will be in kindergarden. Maybe we can get get 10 young kids and do another class for their age?

Is there a deadline to purchase these tickets for this group? I have two older teens - high school seniors.

Thanks
