OK. Wow. That may change things. What does the premium ticket include and how long is it good for again?
I am so sorry to say this, but I was misinformed about the cost of the class for those already with tickets or AP holders.
I was told by someone who had previously organized a Y.E.S. group that the cost of a class for AP holders or those who already had tickets that it was $26 per student/per class. After calling today to speak with our coordinator, I was told this is NOT correct.
Here is the correct information: Every student participating in a Y.E.S class MUST purchase a Disney Y.E.S ticket (basically a minimum of a 3-day, one park per day ticket).
I am SO sorry to have passed on the wrong info to everybody! I feel terrible about it and apologize. I will be changing the info on the front page right away!

That sucks. Are the tickets just used for entry to the parks/program or are the needed for something else. I have a large group going with us so could we purchase additional student/parent tickets and have the other kids participate and use the tickets from their package to get into the parks? That is probably against a rule or something, but just a thought.
The premium ticket includes park hopping between all 4 themeparks, plus the waterparks and Disney Quest, and it is good for 7 days before and after our arrival dates. Our arrival date will be December 4th and our departure date is December 18th, so the tickets will be good starting November 27th through December 25th (you would not be able to use the tickets starting on Dec 26th). However, you still would only have 8 days to use on the tickets total, although I think you can buy up to 10 day primium Y.E.S tickets, but I would need to call to get the prices for those.
That totally sucks for AP holders and people who booked packages for sure. I guess it's a way to ensure that the Y.E.S program remains appropriately funded. If the AP holders swamped the classes with their kids all year long, the lack of Y.E.S ticket sales would cut off the necessary funding to run the program. That's my guess anyway.
The tickets work just like any other ticket....they get you into the parks and you can use them to get fastpasses, and of course the class too. If you have other people going with you who have kids, I absolutely would have the kids participate in the class so they and their parents could order and use the Y.E.S tickets. I mean, it's a fun three hour class, and it would save them hundreds of dollars.
My niece is the only one of age for the class... My son will be in kindergarden and my other niece is only 4. We are a big group of grown ups![]()
Hi
I think we might be interested.
We are at Disney 12-22 and we have one third grader.
Do you still have room?
Thanks
Jennifer
I am considering organizing a group for March 2011. Do you have to know how many are going and what ages to submit the request form or can you add more later? Can you get the tickets before you leave or do you have to pick them up when you arrive? Congratulations on how your group is coming together!
What is the price on the 10 day base ticket?
We are doing 2 kids now instead of one.
3 grade and 4th grade so I hope this helps our group.
