I hope everyone so far was able to book everything they wanted for the cruise. It's about time for the ones on their first cruise to be able to book. I hope you can book everything you want as well. We only booked one excursion on St Thomas, and we are going to rent bicycles on Castaway Cay. Also, got an early boarding time at the port. That was it for us.

Well, I can see by the ol' clock on the wall, it's about time for me to start working. Everyone have a GREAT DAY today!!!

Well getting up at 11:45 pm and NWMom helped me Saturday night get what I wanted. I was able to get Remy, Palo Brunch, Palo Dinner and 11-11:30 port arrival time. Now if I could get a cheaper rental car rate. We are arriving Friday Morning via Amtrak and leaving Saturday evening after we get back to port the 22nd. Friday's one way rental with Hertz is 138 dollars with a AAA code and SAturdays 10 hour rental is 188 dollars with a AAA code.

Any one got cheaper rates for a rental car(mini van)? We be arriving via AMtrak.

We are doing a private all day sail on St Thomas. There were 2 more seats available (only 6 to begin with and we have 4). PM me if anyone is interested in looking at this and I will pm you the info.

Got all the stuff to make the FE gifts but havent ordered the FE yet. Guess I need to do that tomorrow.

Still havent decided what to do at San Juan. Any good ideas? I know I want some good Puerto Rician food!!

The FE list is going to be updated hopefully by Tomorrow night Bedtime &pm est) for me. If you need to add childrens ages, who is celebrating etc, please pm me.

I am well aware that not many GTY rooms are being assigned yet. I will add to the bottom of the cruiser list my cell # and email address so that even in route you can send me your updated rooms and in port if you upgrade or get moved. I will also try to have copies of the updated list as of the time I leave on Dec 13th. I will only have one per family(got to cut down on weght someplace.!!)

Hope all of your plans are going well. Fall is here in South Western VA so I might just start packing as I change clothes around in the closets.

Noted about FE. Do you want to do Secret Mickey as well?
Also we have a closed FB group. We closed it so that pictures could be posted and you could give actual info without everyone that is your FB friend knowing that you are out of town. If you want to b e a part of the FB group, PM me with info so that I can search for you and add you as a friend and then add you to the group.

I too would like to CowboyPrincess and family to the cruise. So glad ya'll could join us. We are a fun bunch, with all kinds of activites planned, party hats, pool parties, ice cream, cake...............wait a minute........that is for my birthday coming up this week-end...................................................never mind.

Linda, it takes roughly about 50 minutes to an hour to drive from Orlando to Port Canaveral. (Depending how fast you drive!!! ) This is with no stops in between to eat lunch. You need to add in time to get your luggage at the airport, get to your car or Disney Bus, how ever you plan to get to the port, as well.

What type of upgrade are you looking for? I see our cruise is full and am not sure what is really worth an upgrade. We have a verandah.

You will need time to get your luggage so about 30-45 mins.
It takes an hour to drive to the port from Orlando.
If you are renting a car then you would need an extra 30 mins.

So 1 or later should be fine. If you were doing Disney transfers you would not have to worry about getting your luggage or car so you could have an arrival time around 12:30 but of course you would check in at the airport with the disney transfers so port arrival time really doesn't matter.

Hiya folks, my husband and I booked our second cruise for this date and we are excited. It's our first 7 night cruise.

I have nearly read all this thread but wow, there's a lot to read so I'm gonna take a break now. You all have been active for a while on this one. That's exciting to see. Although I've been a dis member for a while, I'm not all that active anymore but it's always fun to come in and meet new people.

You are suppose to. I can't remember exactly the steps but in order to pick a port arrival time most info must be entered.
