The Presidents of the Worldwide Man Club and the Hen Club had a Peace Treaty negotiation meeting at a secret location. (I came up with an idea and bounced it off Kevin in the kitchen)

We would like feedback from the rest of you.

Dismeet is still set for sometime on Saturday

Champagne Girls are meeting on Sunday at 4pm. (the 1st at sea day)

What about a joint WWMC and Hen's Club meeting on Monday at 3pm ?
(the 2nd at sea day). That would allow time for visiting and still let everyone get ready for dinner. It also should not interfere with any Palo's or Remy reservations.

So thoughts and feedback as we get ready to make reservations tonight.

I would have LOVED
to have been able to book us for a Friday flight. Alas, with two in retail (DD24 and the DDBF23 both at Target) and the DS20 just coming home from finals week at Purdue, there was no way to do this. We are simply hoping and praying that we have no weather issues out of Chicago. Usually, we don't have snow until Xmas or after, so I'm not terribly worried. But if you have an option, I'd take the Friday arrival

I guess we get lucky in a sense in that we would never be able to do a Saturday and make it on time. We always have to book for Friday as no flights from Denver make it in time to get on board.

We had originally booked our trip on board and had a stateroom number - but when we returned; I booked it using DVC points that were to expire this year. Only problem is that our reservation just shows "Guaranteed". I called DVC last week and they say that it might not be posted until a week before we sail. Anyone ever had this same problem? We want to do the Fish Extenders and Secret Mickey but am worried that we won't get our cabin number in time to participate. (Thanks)

The FE list has been updated on the FB page. Remember the cutoff date is October 15 and the groups are being kekpt to 20-25. WE have two groups going at this time. WE are also doing Secret Mickey which is one family that send send secret gifts to 2-3 times throughout the week limit to 25-30 dollars. Assignments are going out for those that have signed up so far. If you are not on the fe list or sm list, you may pm me. The cruiser list I have on FB is the most updated. If you want on the FB page, just pm me with the info that I need to friend you. [/B]

Lee: We do not have a cabin number yet (just guaranteed status). When I checked with DVC (paid with points this time); they said it might not be until a week prior to sailing. We want to do the Secret Mickey and the Fish Extenders (My daughter Nicolle has let you know this I believe....). She is celebrating her 20th birthday on this cruise (Dec 15th!!!). Thanks. Well, I made the call today to change the address for the cruise so our documents would arrive to the right place. I also mentioned the cabins not being the same and asked if there was any way they could be the same cabin for both cruises.

She said since one was a GTY possibly they could not change it, but she would ask when she called over the address change.

I said well, if we don't ask the answer is no, if we did ask it might be yes.
I said it would be really magical to not have to change rooms as that work mostly falls on the mama in the group. Chit chatted mentioned I was done moving for a while.

She laughed and agreed. It took a bit of singing along with the hold music, but we now have room 5020 for both cruises!!!!!!!!!!! Port side.

Way to GO! I will have to remember to use that "magical" term more often...I still have a GTY room since we are using DVC points. I didn't know that they wouldn't give out cabin numbers due to that fact; seems silly. But way to go - glad that it worked out.

We ahd booked ours with points and were GTY. We got our cabin acouple of weeks ago. I would not worry about it. Do the FE and SM. If you do not get a cabin # soon just bring it to the meet and greet and we all can update our lists.

Our booking window opened and I tried to book stuff on the website - nursery, spa, port adventures, etc...Everything, and I mean everything, not just what I wanted but every random thing I tried, says no availability for my selected party. Is this just me or are others having problems too?

I've tried on a MAC and a PC and iPad and with safari and chrome and it always turns out the same.

FE is where you put small gifts in everyone in your group's FE.
Inexpensive items, no set price. Many are very crafty. Others are creative without being crafty.

Secret Mickey (SM) is where you have a specific family you secretly give gifts to
2-3 small gifts totalling $25-30
This is the one where we have been telling about our families

Ok, Skye & Kevin.....We've given this a bit of thought, and having 4 meets might be a bit much (the whole group DIS meet on Sat, the Pink Champagne Ladies on Sun, the WWMC on Mon, and Hen Club, TBD). We sure don't want to either spend all our time with meets or to feel pressured with trying to fit them in between the dinner ressies.

But....we (me and my Kevin) think the guys should still have a time to get together, just them, without us ladies. We think it's just as important that the guys have a chance to bond as it is the ladies.

Then we still would have the combined DIS meet, then the WWMC just for the guys, and Pink Champagne for just the ladies .........but let's drop the Hen club.

That's our family's vote

PS - and I'd almost like to have the WWMC and PCL meets both on Sunday (WWMC at 2 pm, and PCL at 4 pm) like they are set up now, instead of moving the WWMC to Monday. I totally agree that we don't want people to rush though
