oh..............is that all....................................i thought it would be someone special..................no,no,no,no,no, i mean..................that is great news kevin. I'm really looking forward to that welcoming commitee!!!


i need to stop here, and explain myself to one and all. I joke around allot with ya'll about everything and about my loving dw. She is the light of my life, and i do love her with all my heart. I am a better man because of her. I would be lost without her. She holds a very special place in my heart. She knows i joke around all of the time. She has had to live with me and my silly sense of humor most of our lives. (we didn't meet until our high school years. Yep it's been that long.) so she knows me pretty good. I just wanted to let ya'll know how much dw really means to me. (now the commercial is over - back to your regular programming.)


yea, my lovely dw booked our flight down, now all we need is the flight back, hmm, maybe not.

all right!!! Kevin, skye and family are all set to head down to florida!!!! Just how they are going to get back home...............we don't know just yet!!! but

Haven't posted for a while- been busy- My husband and I are planning to go to the port when the Fantasy comes into port. Anyone else going? Is someone arranging some type of get together? We would love to meet some of you before this cruise. We live about 5 minutes from the port.

Hi Happy Goofy! Good to hear from you again. DW and I are going to try to make it over to see the Fantasy sail in to Port Canaveral. Not for sure just yet. We should know as it gets closer to the time she is to come in. We'll let you know.

On one of our first cruises, we bought pirate wear for pirate night. But my dh and I have stopped wearing ours. We're boring, I know . . .

For Pirate Night we usually get some type of shirt and a hat from the Dollar Store. We are going on the Hawaiian cruise in April so I have been busy on that thread. They are a talkative bunch.
Has anything been decided on how we are doing the FE on this curise? I know every cruise the leader of it handles it a little bit different.

I was curious about that with the announcement coming from Miami. I posted on the TA thread that we aren't going to be doing that one now. I am going to re-enroll in college to finish my degree and those funds will go a LONG way to paying for my tuition, and there is no way for me to take two weeks off of school. We don't have any fall breaks there. Maybe another year.

The great thing is, I will be finished for the semester, so our 5th cruise is still on!!! We'll have to get creative about hitting just the right time for our cruises so they aren't always at a premium.

I haven't heard about how the FE will be done. At this point we have 20 cabins as a "yes" on the list. We had 50 on our Oct. Dream and that was insane!!! I do know that my preference would be to have a smaller number of cabins and split the list if necessary.

On the Transatlantic we had 100 cabins plus giving something to the children in each cabin. It was a lot of work and a lot of walking all over the Magic.

Congratulations on deciding to finish your degree! That is a very noble reason for giving up a cruise.

Has anyone even heard what pricing woud be? It's a dream of mine to go back to Europe. Would love for it to be this one, but maybe the next.

We are planning on going as pirates this Halloween and will bring those along.

Sorry to hear you are not going on the TA Amanda, but going back to college to get your degree is a great idea. I applaud you. DW has said many times she wishes she had finished her college. There always seemed that something came up that she couldn't get back to finish. She made a very sucessful career for herself and I am very proud of all that she has accomplished.
