Hello fellow cruisers.

David, you keep me laughing. You are very much like my dh (who hasn't posted here yet). I'll have to drag him over. Way to go getting back on the horse. hopefully each day you are less sore.

Welcome to our newer members. I'm working on putting the list in google docs to keep track of all our member and who is participating in the FE and who isn't. I know the gal who started the website said she'd keep it updated, but I hate to ask her to do that when she's not on our cruise any longer. And truly I don't mind. I've kept our FE list for the past couple of cruises.

-Never getting caught lets you know how brilliant we were-

David is very lucky that I am not mad at him and have been having the deepest chuckles reading his posts.

So glad to see a fellow member of the MAN Club, (Men Against Nothin'), Kevin. I got my dues all paid up and everything!!! I hope this didn't cause any problems in your home. Things are constantly in turmoil here in our household. When DW hollors..............I mean bellows.............no, no, no, I mean when she calls out "HEY STUPID" both me and the dog take off running. He's looking at me and I'm looking at him as we're running down the street, both of us with the same look on our faces - "What did you do now?!??!" And both of us hoping that it is the other one that is in trouble!!! But 9 times out of 10 it's me!!! What can I do!!!! My Dad always stayed in trouble with Mom too. I guess I inherited it from Dad.

Dude, has NWMom put together a hunny due list of things she wants you to do around the house, while she sits around and does nothing!! I mean, I mean, while she works TWICE as hard as you. You should see my Honey Do List. Scrub out the garbage cans, the ones inside and out side, take down the outside Christmas lights, bathe the dogs and clean out their anal glands, clean out the garage, wash and detail the cars, etc.

Now move closer so I can give you some advise.........closer.......not too close now,

Bring some roses for the "Welcoming Commitee"

My plans was to come same day and stay after. What if I come in really early? Do you know if the cruise bus can pick up really early?
How do I make a ticker? Where do I post it at?

The reason for coming in the day before is weather delays etc. If you miss the boat, it leaves without you and you can pay to fly to meet it at the first port.

We're coming from Washington State so not only a time zone, but a climate zone change. I do not want winter delays to keep me off the ship. We are coming in on a Wednesday night/ Thursday morning redeye.
Also for our cruise date, rooms will be cheaper pre cruise. They switch to holiday prices about when we head out.
Plus I have family in Florida so we are doing a few days precruise, a few post cruise then family before heading home.

Will you have any kids on this trip?

Yes. We have one on this trip.

Just know our category as we are GTY. That means they will tell us our room number anytime from now until the time we board. Hoping for pixie dust.

This is our second DCL. First was Alaska last year.

I haven't sen anything about this credit. You may need to book online for the credit or through a Travel Agent to get the shipboard credit. Someone else can give you better advice on that.
We're DVC so we paid with points.

On another board I am on we have rules for reading and posting.
I thought I should share one of the most important ones we have:

1. Food and beverages
Always swallow before reading a post. It is your responsibility if you forget this rule and end up with a mess by spitting coffee all over your computer screen.

Also, all medical bills resulting from choking while laughing are YOUR responsibilty.

Hmm, no emoticon for spitting on the computer on these boards.

Thanks Patricia, yes each day is a little better then the previous one, as far as the soreness goes. And, Yes, please do have your hubby post on here. From the looks of things, I'm going to need all of the help I can get.

Kevin...........Dude..............so sorry I put that idea in your wife's head. My wife got the idea from her mother, who go the idea from her mother............and well you can see that the idea was passed down from generation to generation.

Kevin, Man oh man, I thought my DW handed out tough honey do lists. Yours takes the No. 1 position, for the all time tough lists to take care of. That dog one sure blew my mind. I've never had to do THAT!!! I sure hope my most wonderful, sweet, loving, caring, beautiful DW does not see your list. Did I say she is the bestest wife there EVER was!!!! She is GREAT, she is my sugar plum, my honey bear, my love of my life. (Do ya think I laid it on too thick?)

All I did was ask him to get me a cup of coffee, lol!!.
He does need to take down the Christmas lights this weekend.
Kevin is such a stinker, our dogs do get bathed at home in between groomer appointments (God Bless Neva because she does the anal glands and the toe nails, not DH)

Just in case anyone is heading down for a vacation pre-cruise from Washington.

Southwest is still only booking through Aug. 10.

Alaska Airlines has flights up through Dec 7. Prices are not too bad compared to what I have been watching. One ways either $222 or $242.

We have a flight there. Now we wait for return flights. Mum would be happy if we stayed forever.

Haven't posted for a while- been busy- My husband and I are planning to go to the port when the Fantasy comes into port. Anyone else going? Is someone arranging some type of get together? We would love to meet some of you before this cruise. We live about 5 minutes from the port.
