December 15, 2012 A Yo-HO-HO-HO Holiday Fantasy!

OK Peeps. I am sure the answer is somewhere in this thread but I'm gonna take this route. How does the FE work if your in a suite and the halls are gated? This is our 1st time on this ship and didn't know how you get to peoples FE's if they are in a suite. Thanks for any info !

So here's the problem. We are having to fly in with us airways from the U.K. With an amazingly fantastic luggage allowance of 23 kg. :furious: we are doing 3 consecutive cruises here on the Fantasy. Doing FE, secret Mickey, full formal and everything else. So weight allowance is going to be tight. :confused3

But serious part of problem.:sad1: If any kind soul :flower3:lives near or knows the area round the port could they please post the details of a good wine merchants. :cool1: That we can order our supplies from:rotfl2: We have never liked the wine list available by DCL. We always bring our own. But we will not be hiring a car this time so we need somewhere that will deliver approx 24 Bottles

Any help appreciated :grouphug: Erm edited because I didn't want it to sound like we needed help with consumption of supplies hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Sorry. XxX

I posted this on our FB page, but thought maybe I should post on here as well for everyone to read. From my understanding you have to give your FE gift to one of the room attendents on the gated floors. You tell them which stateroom your FE gift is for and they will deliver your FE gift for you.

You might try this website -

It says they deliver to Port Canaveral and to the Disney Cruise Line. Hope this helps.:thumbsup2

Remember hard cut off date is October 15, After seeing the consensus on FB, I am splitting the FE into 3 groups. If you want to give to more you may.
I will do this tonight and then post on FB and email to those who are requesting email lists.

I've had a ton of fun reading this thread. So excited for the cruise. The days are finally moving. It sounds like everyone has big plans for this awesome trip. So I have a question... this is my husband's first cruise, my third. What are some things that guys like to do on the ship (besides eat). I'd like to book something special for him. I was able to get a Palo brunch for us, but just curious as to what the guys do onboard.

My DH loves Palo brunch, so good choice. He also just loves walking around the ship and on deck after dinner. The hot tubs, trivia games, the shows and the movies. He just enjoys the ship like me. Your hubby will enjoy his flexible time.pirate:

Thanks. We have had things from them before but we need a quality wine merchants as even a liquor store does not carry what we want. Sorry. XxX

Madmum63, I guess it might help the rest of us help you if we knew what wines you are looking for. Most US liquor stores have a great selection of wines, but maybe you can post the vineyards/labels you are looking for ;);)

Ahaaaaa will let u know tomorrow. 12.35 am in uk so determined to leave these sites now :wave2: and get some sleep. In the past concierge has organised a cab for us and we have gone to actual wine merchants. See we should have asked the experts. Thanks for that. Be back in a few hours.

:wave::wave: me, me, me, me, me,:wave::wave: I am soooooooo ready to start cruising!!! This working thing every week, just doesn't seem to be working out. It takes up waaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too much of my valuable time!!!! I've got things to do.............people to meet...........places to visit..............naps to take.................relaxing in the sun to do..................you know those kinda important things!!!!:thumbsup2

Hey everyone. I have an odd sort of question. Will there be any place (other than a treadmill) that I could run long distance? Will they allow me to run around the deck of the ship if I get up really early? I ask because I'm in half marathon training again and the week we are on the ship I'm scheduled for a 12 mile run. 12 miles on the dread-mill will certainly kill me. If it's not possible I might have to push it back a few days and do my long one on WDW property after the cruise. TIA!

madmum63- I'm also interested in finding a good wine merchant in the area. We also will be without a car, but finding a few good bottles of wine to carry on board with us is well worth the price of a cab ride. Even though I'm from CA, I despise the overly oak-y CA style chardonnays. I prefer Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand and South Africa. I also like a good vouvray and sancere from France. My reds, I prefer to be Italian or French, but I'll take a good CA pinot noir any day.

Oh we are soooo together on wine and oak. One belongs in a glass the other in a Forrest. Hehehe. When we did Panama Canal. We were going to go cold turkey rather than have their wine. Will keep you posted.

One place you won't find me though is on the running track round the ship. They have them on the others so I am sure they will on the Fantasy. Ohhhh yawwwnn got to go and have a nap now just before I go and collect DD from school. Oooohh the thought of exercise. You are soooo good :)
