Cindy, I agree with you - Michigan is hot and with the humidity STICKY!!!

Well everyone, although Jeff refused to cancel our current reservation in order to rebook with you all we will be having dinner together because we are now officially linked with the group for dining rotation!!! :cool1:

Have a great one!

Drinks???? What drinks???? :confused3

It is HOT here today....over 90 already, and I live a mile from the ocean.....everyone stay cool today.

:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: 95 degrees here today with a heat index making it feel like 110. Glad I was only out in it to drive to and from work today. Temp was 81 at 6am this morning on my drive to work. Bring on the :cold: front. We're supposed to stay in the 80's for the rest of the week after it passes thru.

Rain moved through Michigan last night - finally brought us a little relief. :flower: At least it's not so muggy!!! It's the humidity that gets ya.

Okay, had my weigh in. Although I was sick this past week and didn't do real good at sticking to the diet here's the new totals:
5 pounds and 9 1/2 inches lost to date :goodvibes

After 3 weeks we finally have had a couple days below 85 degrees and the A/C has been turned off!!! I love having the windows open but with the extreme heat and humidity over the past few weeks or A/C has been running non-stop. Kids have loved the hot weather, lots of swimming and popsicles!

We just made our plane resies the other day. The price dropped from 306 to 252 so we jumped on it. The only bad thing is we have to stay over Sat night after the cruise because we couldn't get a flight back. It makes for a long trip because we arrive at WDW on Tues Nov 29.

We're trying to decide on taking a car service to WDW and staying at AKL Sat night or just staying in Port Canav. at the Ron Jon. Anyone been to Kennedy Space Center? I'm not sure what else we'd do if we stayed near the port.

Hope all is well.

Has anyone been to Hilton Head in mid April? We're thinking of using our DVC points and going for spring break next year. I'd like the kids to be able to swim in the pool and play in the sand at the beach. I'm just not sure it will be warm enough. It will however, be warmer than Ohio!

Have a nice weekend! We're off to swim.

Well, Friday night I finalized out itinerary and saved enough money by redoing flights that we're able to go down on Friday and stay at the Caribbean Resort and attend the MVMCP. Another first for us since neither have been to WDW. Also.....paid everything off a month early! WOO HOO!

Have booked for 11/06....the entire family of 8!!! Another countdown has begun!!!

Took the girls for the weekend to a hotel further north and attended their fair. It was a great girls' weekend....haven't had one in a while!

Hope everyone's weekend went well!

We are going down on December 1 for the MVMCP. I'm not sure what we will do on Friday, play it by ear. When we return from the cruise we will also be staying over Saturday night and flying home Sunday afternoon. We are staying at Pop Century Resort before and after our cruise, we love the Hippy Dippy Pool!

Just stopping in to say hello! :wave2: You're all getting so close!! :Pinkbounc I can almost feel the anticipation here in my office! ;)

Suse, Loved the pics of the Neon. Still amazes me we can share that stuff.

Just wanted you to know I was thinking of y'all! :sunny:

Cindy,
We'll also be at the MVMCP on Thursday! We have a 5:40 PS at LTT. We went to the Christmas party last year after the cruise and all of us loved it. It was a beautiful night. The shows and all the decorations were great. Remember to get your family picture asap. The line gets really long.

Kris, sounds like you had a great weekend. How old are your girls? How nice to have this cruise paid for and another one booked. That's something to celebrate!!! :cool1:

We had a fun weekend around home. I was off Friday. We had Greg's family and cousins over for a cook out. The kids swam until 10:00 then CRASHED. The adults had a nice time drinking Capt. Morgan's Mango Rum, cranberry juice cocktail (light of course!) and orange juice with crushed ice. It was an awesome evening. Sat we had neighbors over for dinner with their 4 kids. Agian more swimming for the kids and Capt Morgans for the adults. Hmmm, I'm starting to see a pattern here..... :teeth:

Sunday was a day of rest and no Capt Morgans :guilty: .

Today I was off and it was a day of cleaning.

Did anyone buy trip insurance from Insuremytrip.com? I was online looking at different policies. Last year we bought from the TA. This year, since we rebooked on board I kind of forgot about it.

Have a great night!

Hey Cindy and Gail, we will be at MVMCP on the 1st also. Haven't made any ps for LTT yet, guess I better get on it. We went to MVMCP two years ago and just loved it. The parade is the best! Oh, and the "snow"! Maybe we will see you there. :wave2:

Vicki, what time are you at LTT? Did you go to MVMCP last year after your cruise? We all loved it. I was just looking at pictures the other day.

Linda you're right the snow was fantastic. I'm really looking forward to going again this year.

Next year we're going to the Halloween party. That was also alot of fun. The kids wore costumes and the parade was terrific :maleficen :maleficen .

Ah, I'm having withdrawal. I think I need to be at Disney.......
