December 03, 2005 Western Magic?

Hi Gailyn! I'm afraid Vicki has given me away---now everybody knows I am a Disney freak! :earseek:  :teeth: Vicki and the princesses are meeting Pat (grayfal), Sarah, me, and my DH for the Halloween party. She was letting me know that we get to go to LTT with her family. (I can't wait!!!!! :maleficen ) We're (Pat, Sarah, me and DH) also going to MVMCP and the cruise. Seems a bit much, huh? LOL! HOP won't be on this cruise with us , but we will be cruising together on the 11/11/06 CC double dip. Whoo Hooo!

What excursions has everybody decided on? I think we will be doing the caverns on Cozumel. Sounds interesting!

Please forgive me for not getting back to my PM's. I have been super busy. It has been crazy. Ok... here is the latest update on the rooms...
We have 4 Cat 6's left. They go back in inventory next Thursday if they are not sold. The price for 2 adults is $2966.36 plus you get $150 in onboard credit. If you add children, here are the costs:

13+ $853.18
6-12 $653.18
3-5 $638.18
Under 3 $178.18

Disney's current price for a cat 6 with 2 adults and 2 6-12's is $4777.92. So, that is $505.20 cheaper plus you get $150 onboard credit. Let me know if you have family that would like to join but the cost scared them away. :earseek: We had these rooms for family but it is too close to Christmas so some can't go. Might as well put them to good use. pirate:

Be back soon!!! :moped:

Ok guys I guess I need to let you all in on something that Jeanna has known for a week.

We have had to cancel our cruise:sad:    . I can hear you all gasping out loud and your brains beginning to spin wondering why. As difficult a decision it was to make we had to do it. The financial burden was just more that we could bear:eek: :scared: :scared1: . It hasn't been a very good year:confused3

On a brighter note, we are still going to WDW for 10 days at the same time we were going to be cruising with you Dec 1-10th. It is only 1/3 of the cost that we were spending on the cruise and that even includes meals:drinking1 :mickeybar We will be staying at Pop Century and we are also going to be doing MVMCP. The girls don't know about that part yet. Rachel is very excited about the change. She took it a lot better than we expected her to.

Maybe we can all get together before you sail away:boat: Dinner at LTT might be nice.:goodvibes :) :earsboy:

Perhaps next year will be better... there is always 11/11/06. pirate:  princess: :wave2:

Susan and John, I'm so sorry that I won't get to meet you and your family. But it sounds like a good trade off, 10 days at WDW at 1/3 the price. I hope you have a great time on your trip. Maybe we'll run into you at LTT!!

Gailyn

Susan and John, we'll be at WDW on Friday the 2nd. We get to Orlando at 11:00 a.m. Are staying at the Caribbean and will be doing Magic Kingdom and the MVMCP. Maybe we can meet someplace!?! Think ahead to 11/06...would love to cruise with you!

we are staying at pop century. im sorry we cant go on the cruise. as for MVMCP it will be the first or second. not 100% sure. i just know we are going to have as much fun as we do on the cruise.

Almost forgot....6 pounds and 10-10 1/2 inches to date :cool1:

Kris, CONGRATULATIONS :cheer2: !! Keep up the good work. My diet is at a stand still. Luckily I haven't added back any of the inches and pounds lost during the spring. Exercise starts back at the end of next week after a 2 1/2 week break. I'm looking forward to it.

Took the kids and 4 friends to see Sky High yesterday afternoon. It was a cute movie and they really liked it. Afterward we all went back to the friends house and had pizza. We (the parents, not the kids :) then sat around and looked at an Outer Banks catalogue for next summer and drank Capt Morgan's Mango Rum drinks to get into the spirit of course.

Today we're going to play put put golf then go to a cook out/swim party. No housework will be done today. Thankfully we haven't been home that much to make a mess!

Well, off to make breakfast. The kids had two of their friends sleepover last night.

Have a great day :sunny:

Well I've recovered from two hours of put-put golf in the sweltering sun and another two hours in an arcade of manic kids. The kids had a great time and all in all it was a fun day. However, I'm glad we only do it once a summer LOL!!

Today will be a day of cleaning, yardwork and organizing :Pinkbounc . We're hosting this months Euchre party at our house. The development has a group of 20 couples that play monthly and it rotates to different houses each month. It's a fun way to get to know your neighbors. We've been playing for a couple years. DH Greg is a much better player than me. I go for the social aspects -chating with friends, eating, drinking, chating, and oh-yeah to play some cards :goodvibes .

I'm getting ready to purchase trip insurance through insuremytrip.com. Has anyone used them before? Last year we bought it when we booked through AllSeasons Travel. This time, we rebooked on board and the insurance got overlooked.

I also need to decide which excursions to go on. I read several good posts about Eagleraydivers.com in Cozumel and also some nice posts about Mr. Sanchos beach in Cozumel.

Have a great day!

Gailyn :)

Busy weekend here in Michigan. We went further north in MI yesterday for truck and tractor pulls - rolled in about 2:30 a.m. Long day but a lot of fun. We needed the break. Girls are at my mom's this morning so I have some time to get a jump start on things around the house.

I'm been influenced by Jeanna....busy making lists and checking them 50 times to make sure I don't forget anything for the trip! Thanks Jeanna, you've been the best! :sunny: Thanks to everyone else for all their help too! Never realized just how much prep work goes in to something like this. Next year will be a breeze once we get this first trip underneath our belts!! :goodvibes

I'm still plugging away at the diet. Most of the weight loss has been in the waist down. YOO HOO! :cheer2: Getting ready to kick in a more toning stuff to start making sure things firm up and not just sag to my shoes!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Kris, glad you had a nice weekend. I'm off today and I should be doing laundry, but I'm on the Dis instead. Somehow I just can't get motivated today. Lots of things I should be doing, but I just don't want to do them.

The kids go back to school Aug 24th and they're not very happy about it. We've all had such a nice summer sleeping in and staying up late. I can't believe it's almost over.

We're going to Cedar Point for a few days before the start of school. It will be a surprise for the kids and they've never been. I can't wait.

Have a good day!

Hey Gailyn,

Another suggestion is Access America. They have a kids free program if you use their website. Email me if you need more info. It was a real bargain for us last year!!

Email me if you can't get to the link where the kids are free. I think we aren't supposed to post websites but I am not sure. So, just let me know if you can't find it. Big $$$ saver!!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. We just finished a big night of "rummy" with DH's parents. We had them over for dinner and it's been so long since we've played cards that I forgot how fun it was :sunny: ! Maybe the two bottles of wine helped  , but it was a nice evening.

Took DD and 3 friends to see the March of the Penguins. Cute movie. The photography was pretty amazing.

My garden is doing so well this year. I've had so many tomatoes and cukes! It must be the sunny days and hot evenings. Last year my garden didn't produce much at all.

Well, I'm off tomorrow. Maybe I'll work on my DCL scrapbook from last year's cruise. I'd like to have it finished before we leave this year LOL!!! :rotfl:

Gailyn :Pinkbounc

Today ended my two week break from exercise. Our class started up again. It was so nice to be back at class, I actually missed it and was up before my alarm went off :cool1: . Four days a week this time. June and July were only 3 days and that wasn't enough to offset my bad eating and drinking habits.

I'm actually going to try to make healthier eating choices so that I'll loose weight and I'm considering not drinking during the week, well, maybe one day :) It's so hard in the summer. People stop over and one thing leads to another and ...... :) In the winter I could care less and rarely drink even on weekends. Something about those cute umbrella drinks and margaritas and Capt Morgans Mango Rum in the summer though........Well, enough is enough!

I'm home today with the kids. Trying to do cleaning and making sure they have all their stuff to start school next Mon. Eeeks, I can't believe it's that time again. I need another month of summer!!

Kris- I hope you're diet is still going well :sunny: .

Later,
Gailyn
