Dec. hours

OK so let me start off with I know they will change. We have gone every Dec. for 15 years. My issue is Animal Kingdom hours. They have Christmas week listed as closing at 5pm. I was hoping to make AK dinner reservations later than that then enjoying the new "after dark" attractions they keep advertising.

The way it is posted now none of those attractions are an option.

Frustrated.

It is certainly understandable to be frustrated! You try to make your ADRs 180 days ahead of time, but you don't know what the park hours are going to be. And who knows when Rivers of Light is going to be ready!

On our most recent trips, we started planning more dinners at resorts, to allow more flexibility if hours changed or we rearranged our park days. If I was in your situation, I would make a dinner ADR at Boma or Jiko on your Animal Kingdom day. Then you can always go back to the park if it is open late!

I agree this is a decent plan (definitely for AK since the hours are so up in the air), and Sanaa was an excellent dinner choice on our last trip (loved everything). Happy planning!
