Dec 9 Condo Meeting-Updating Live!

I realize that but why not implement it for next year and beyond? It would save money and trees and save me carting it to the recycle bin. There would be a cost to add the option to opt out to the members website and to the software they use to determine how many to print and where to send them but over time they would get that money back and then some.
Remember our dues are not paying for these "planners". They come from the marketing division, and such, want you to have it and possibly "pass it" along to others.

I try to opt out of as many paper mailings as possible, especially books, catalogs, etc. I prefer reading electronic copies of things like this rather than receive (and have to dispose of) printed copies. It's not just about who is paying for it, it is about waste.

New BBQ pits at VGC? I wonder why, as the stainless gas grills are great. Perhaps adding more, or changing the location?

I read in another thread about the meeting that they were just adding lighting to the grilling areas, but maybe they are also adding more or changing location?

Mike, thanks for the screen shots from the meeting! The on-line booking pages looked pretty interesting. I think that will be a huge advancement if it works the way it's supposed to.

So excited about this, too bad it's still "another year away", but a screen shot is a start that something is actually in the works.

The mistake was changing how it was done a couple years ago. What Deb is referring to is that we used to always have those things LONG before we needed them, but the past couple of years they have been late, later, and latest!

I just wish they would go back to the binder pages....SO much easier and the information was pertinent.

I'm a newbie, how were the binders done? Did you start with one big binder with all the pages and then early you were just sent pages that were updated or did they send all pages yearly whether there were changes or not? I would also prefer an option to opt out of postal mailings even though DVC probably hopes we use the info to purposely or accidently (marketing piece left on coffee table) share DVC info with friends & family. However, I think a binder with pages that just get replaced as needed would be better than the giant book.

You just received pages that needed replaced. I think the issue with that is some members probably did not keep them up to date and had old information. Plus they were adding resorts so quickly it may have got too big.

No, they stopped doing the replacement sheets before they added VWL and BCV. We only got a few years' worth of them before they stopped.

Code:
Exactly and those that got theirs at the meeting, did they check your name off a list so you will not get another one by mail. :confused3

Names were not taken, so everyone at the meeting will probably receiv another one.

Right, they knew more resorts would be coming so they decided to drop it before it got too big. VWL was under construction when I bought BWV in 1999. I know I got a couple years worth of points charts for the binder.
