Dec. 2, 2007-4 night Wonder and MouseFest Cruise

Any pictures of the pups Michael?
What proud papa wouldn't have pics??!!! LOL

Now, you can only see 6, and most of what you can see are tails, (never said we took GREAT pictures) but mom looks content.

How gorgeous!!!! I can't remember if you have told us what breed they are, but mum is very beautiful.

They are Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers (Irish Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier in the UK and in Ireland). You can see a pic of mom and me back on Post 65 when I was actively showing her. With age her coat just blossomed.

Well, time for me to think about getting ready for work. I'm supposed to be there in about 15 minutes and I don't think that's going to happen today:rotfl: Oh, well, glad the boss likes me AND his wife happens to be someone I bred dogs with for years! I promise, I don't take advantage of the situation.... much.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone. Haven't had that much time to visit as often as I'd like to. Been rather busy.

We are doing a cruise on the Carnival Victory to Canada on 6/12 and there's so much to do before then!

Anxiously looking forward to this cruise as well. It will be our first "Disney" cruise. We'll be doing Mousefest land after the cruise too and probably staying at Wilderness Lodge or The Boardwalk.

Have a good day!

Fred

Welcome back to the thread, Fred! VERY jealous of your upcoming cruise. Wishing you a great time on Carnival north of the border!

Have a great cruise.:)

By the way, there is a shuttle launch planned for the 6th December, the day we land back, at 4.30pm, though I doubt it will actually go then.

Just a quick question to the veterans... What time do they "kick you off the boat," when you get back to the dock? I know it says we will be back at 7:30 am, but that is incredibly early for us.

Well, we'll actually probably arrive around 6 or 6:30 that morning. Those who are not U.S. citizens (sorry, Marilyn!) get to meet immigration in the theatre bright and early, 5:45 a.m.

The rest of the ship will have their breakfast based on their dinner rotation. Those with early dining will begin at 6:30, 6:45, and 7:00 a.m. at the same restaurant as the previous night's dinner. Those on a 2nd seating dinner rotation will have their breakfast at 7:45, 8:00, and 8:15, once again at the previous night's scheduled restaurant. There is no room service for breakfast on disembarkation morning.

I believe you are expected to be off the ship no later than 9:30 as they need to turn those cabins around QUICKLY for the next group that will be boarding at 12 noon.

Hope that helps!
Michael

I imagine the theatre is filled with grumpy people at 5.45AM on disembarkation day!!!:lmao: I will try and smile!:)

Small change of plans instead of staying at Pop Century after the cruise we are now at POFQ until Sunday.

It is!!! What are your plans around the cruise?

Ah, I remember WL after.

When are you arriving?

I'm not doing too much planning but I know I want to see Atlantis in the bahamas and I plan on renting bikes on Castaway Cay. I did just decided to eat at Palos too. I know I will plan more, but I'm taking it nice and slow (in my planning). We arrive the EARLY morning of the first day of the cruise on 12/2/2007. I'm so very excited!!

Good morning, all! Just bumping this back up the line a bit. Hoping everyone is well!

Michael

Very well thank you Michael. Been a cold wet Bank Holiday here. That is our name for a public holiday. It isn't anything to do with your Memorial Day, just happens to be on the same day! We always used to have a Whitsuntide Bank Holiday which was to do with Pentecost and this moved around within a week or two. Some years ago they changed it just to Spring Bank Holiday and fixed it for the last Monday in May. Sometimes it still coincides with Pentecost as this year.

Have a good rest of day!

Not too chilly here... supposed to be in the upper 80s later this afternoon. I supposed I shouldn't say that we're just about ready to head down to D'land for a quick bite of lunch, huh? I'm blaming it on the diet (the reason to go to the park) in that I've lost some weight and I need to get a new pair of shorts and Rainforest Cafe just happens to be a few doors down from World of Disney.

We spent yesterday serving lunch for 130 at one of the local dog shows. Marc and I are members of this local kennel club and a few years ago they corraled us into catering their luncheon for judges and members. We decided that even though margaritas were the answer last night (PURE escapism!!!) deep-fat fried foods should be the answer today for ever agreeing to do so!!! What can be wrong with that, right?!

Hope your weather improves, Marilyn! Enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday!

Michael

It's Marc, this time! Just received a few more bits for our new pirate costumes last week. We're largely abandoning the frock coats, et cetera, (though terribly authentic) that we had for the first two cruises and going in another direction: Think more The Sea Hawk (1940): "Dashing . . . romantic . . . Errol Flynn at his thrilling best!" based on the privateering adventures of Sir Francis Drake and the 'Sea Dogs' of Elizabethan times. pirate:

We won't have the last pieces until late August. The joy of custom work! Not for those of us who usually prefer instant gratification.... At least it's something to which we can look forward and it's less than 6 months away!

Looking forward to seeing you both! I just know I will not get John to dress up, but I might add a couple of piratey bits!
