Hi everyone. I am going home on Thursday a.m.! Can't wait. I was able to change my OKW ressie to my home resort of the BW last minute! I am very excited.

I would like to know what can be purchased at the Boardwalk Bakery on the DDP under "snack" category. CM said only a coffee, or tea, soda....not like an egg sandwich or a donut, but I thought I read that if it was under $4.00 it could be coffee and a donut? Am I incorrect? Anyone have any experiences with this.

Also, what would you suggest as mode of transportation to get from BW to POR, DD since it's just myself and my girlfriend (no hubbies or kids this trip!)?
Is cab fare reasonable?

TIA

The $4 idea is sort of a rule of thumb, but is not absolute. Many vendors exclude items under $4.

The best way might be to walk (or boat) down to MGM and jump on a POR bus. Obviously bussing would depend on the time of day you're traveling. Cabs should be pretty reasonable. If you don't get some guidance here, the concierge can certainly tell you.

We have been able to get a pastry or a bagel as a snack credit. If I got a coffee and an egg sandwich, or pastry and coffee, they counted it as CS.

We were just "home" Aug. 18-26 and used many, many snack credits at the Bakery. We were told anything under $4.00 could be used. We even got several large cookies and small milks to take with us to eat for breakfast on our last day, when we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel to do Universal.

I can't be of any assistance on your transporation question - sorry.
