DDP & DVC Question

We'll be in WDW pretty soon cool1, and I'm in need of a little help. We're going with another family, and we'll all be staying in a Grand Villa. Last I checked, the policy regarding the DDP is that entitlements go by room, not guest (all guests staying in the room must get the DDP -- not just one family or the other -- the other family wants the DDP but we don't). Does anyone know if it still works this way?

As far as I know, that is still how it works. All or none.

You could get separate rooms but for the GV all will have to get the same DP. TIW may give you a better discount depending on specifics.
