Top O the Mornin Dads and cheers to the first work Friday of the year I know it may be early but still thinking of the bloddy marrys in AK. The TD Garden things sounds great, have a blast. DW was not as big on Disney as the rest of us back in the day. I would catch some noise about "another WDW trip" scared1 but when DS got upset at her about not wanting to go to the family's favorite place it all changed, but when I said the same thing........ Thanks Mike, I've been checking out some of the refurbs for a few months, HM is closed to take out HM holiday overlay(bummed but holding out hope it may opened up) I've even seen where the Castle is being tarped for a big refurb on the 19th (the day we leave) I imagine they waited till Star Wars 1/2 is over for that one. Bummed about all the refurbs but we are still going to have a blast storming a new castle!!

And like I told you before, I believe in Karma so I will not rag you about DD's BF going with y'all on vacation, we all feel your pain!!!

It's warmer here today and there is no wind chill. A little bit of snow, just enough to make it greasy. Just south of us they are getting blizzard like conditions.

DW's school is still closed but now they are saying it is air quality. They are suppose to open on Monday.

Yes, some of the tiles they removed were asbestos tiles.

Afternoon. Still stupid cold and wind has picked up. Eight months from now I'll be Florida wondering about the heat. Heh.

rLooks like the August trip is back on. DS told DW he really wanted to go so of course it's OK now. When DD and I were the force behind it, we were thinking of scrapping it. Never underestimate the mom/son bond. At least DD still listens to me, at least for now. .

I told DW last night that it seemed like it was on again and she was pleased. Gotta drop in on the TA soon

Well guys with the DL trip only a few short days away the thought naturally goes through all of our heads "when is the next trip?" Well this time I realized I don't have an answer and it could end up being a few years.

I would like to attempt a short Wine and Dine 1/2 to get the coast 2 coast but prob unlikely.

I did decide to start to put money back for the next trip,I was talking to my parents the other day and with the DHS and AK construction happening, it seems likely that we may just save and wait till my nephew is 5 and do a joint WDW and DCL trip by then DD will be roughly 12 so prob enjoy it more.

All in all 2014 and 2015 have brought some cool trips and if it takes awhile to get back then that's cool with me and won't stop planning and having fun!!

I swear everything is about a 5 hour drive up there. From the hotel to our office was over an hour itself...

Good Morning and Happy Friday. It's like a beach day here today, supposed to hit 36F. DD has one game this weekend. Tomorrow my team gets to play on the TD Garden court at half time of our high school game and then we get to tour the locker rooms and stuff. Should be a fun morning.

You sure your team hasn't been playing at the TD garden all season, wearing green celtics jerseys? Because that pro-team we had a number of years ago sure hasn't been out there....

Busy\fun day...
Youngest had her first hoops game of the year. She made 5 baskets. She's not afraid to shoot and she played voracious D! Very fun watching K and 1st grade girls play. Dribbling skills aren't strong. DW said it reminder her of the scene from Grease where John Travolta was trying to play basketball.

DW and both DDs were then off to a soccer clinic followed by a bday party at one of those bounce places.

And finally tonight, dinner with friends at a place that has a bunch of craft brews. Any recommendations?

Our office is in Chester. Not many hotels near it, so we stayed in Halifax.

I loved Rondo. Hate to see him go, but glad he's got a chance at another ring. We've had a number of UK guys on the Celts over the years. We also had Pitino, but that didn't work out so well...
