DIS Dads DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Dads of the DIS talk about life, bacon, Disney, bacon, kids, bacon, cars, bacon, family life, and lots of other fun stuff! And beer. And bacon.
Afternoon gentlemen. Quiet here between the DDC3 and football I guess

Morning all. Did some grocery shopping, dropped off the dds at CCD, and am ready for some football.

Yay APs!!!!

I'm excited about this as well. Will have to wait until 2016 to buy them, but since we are going in the summer, I should be able to get two trips out of the APs and then follow up with the renewal. But, the real savings are with the DVC AP initial purchase. I'm just hoping it will still be around.

Morning gents! Kids off to Kid's Club, wife is grading school papers and I came into the office to prepare for some meetings next week but got sidetracked. Hope all have a great 2015! Things may start looking up for us but it is too soon to tell. If it does, I'm sticking with the new avatar.

It's all about the avatar - no treble. :lmao:

Morning, boys.
Busy\fun day...
Youngest had her first hoops game of the year. She made 5 baskets. She's not afraid to shoot and she played voracious D! Very fun watching K and 1st grade girls play. Dribbling skills aren't strong. DW said it reminder her of the scene from Grease where John Travolta was trying to play basketball.
]

Congrats to your dd.

Wow what a great game sorry Randall and congrats to Jim and Rob

That was a really good game, down 14 points twice.

I loved Rondo. Hate to see him go, but glad he's got a chance at another ring. We've had a number of UK guys on the Celts over the years. We also had Pitino, but that didn't work out so well... :lmao:
.

Pitino did ok with the Knicks the first time thru, but didn't have the talent with the Celtics. I think he figured with having those two high picks, he would be able to draft Duncan and build the franchise. Can't win without the players.

A little bragging. She finished her 3rd Disney Marathon.

Congrats to Andrianna.

He had the same players that made the eastern conference finals the year after he left... ;)

Also, he drafted the players for 4 years...

He was banking on Duncan, but that's a pretty crappy excuse for stinking up the joint... He even admitted he did a poor job in his HOF speech.

Chilling in the room now. Since DD had to curtail her training leading up to the marathon due to knee issues, this race kicked her butt a bit. Past races she would finish put some ice on her knees for a few minutes and bounce back quickly. Not this time, she wants to lounge around a bit until dinner. All the walking and standing in place has kick my a$$ a bit so I am good for vegging.

Sorry about the room and the loss of the bibs. Did you run/walk the 5K? How did it go? Wish PP good luck on Sunday! I will be sleeping in after the patriots victory party when we win over Randall's Ravens. Make him buy you a dole whip.

The room is growing on me a bit and not as bad as the first impression. Was trying to be clever on the bibs. Gave the bibs to Tony and Adam. Glad I did, Thursday was a cold windy day.

Wow what a great game sorry Randall and congrats to Jim and Rob

Unbelievable game. Nice to be on the winning end, but great game either way.

Um, no. Well except for the sorry Randall comment.

Ok football is done for another season. It was nice to see the Cowboys make it this far and they were playing later in the year than the Ravens and Steelers.

:lmao:

Okay. It's not official but since there will be a DisDad presence in DLR next weekend for a certain set of races, I'm tagging it DDC3.141592.
See you there Philip and Richard any other dads I might have missed

Your office is in the middle of nowhere. I didn't realize there was anything but tourists and fishermen in Chester.

Yes it is. But what would the tourists be doing there? It was my first time up there, and I didn't really have any time to see anything.

Was surprised that catch was reversed. Looked good to me. But that's why I don't get paid a lot of money to wear stripes and work 17-21 days a year... :rotfl:

:thumbsup2
You'll put those commando skills to the test for this trip. On that note, now that we are probably traveling summers for the next decade to WDW, I think I DW talked into APs as well.

When are you planning on going , we are doing a mid week to mid week so it's like 2 weeks covered:confused3

I would love to make it up there, but grad school is kicking my butt right now. I can't wait until it's done and I can get back to spending my time researching Disney and not Leadership!

I've been thinking the same thing, while DDCC3 hangovers are still lingering, we will continue on!! I look forward to meeting you and Richard and any other of the dads going.

Morning guys! I hope all the guys down at DDCC3 made it back from their trips safely.

Morning Paul!

Back to reality today.....and reality SUCKS!

Plane landed last night to "light snow". I get out on the roads and can't see 15 feet in front of me and resort to following a semi truck to have any kind of clue where I'm going.

A 1 inch forecast has so far provided 4 inches and it's still snowing.

My 1hr and 45 min drive took 2.5 hours.

I wanna go back to Florida.

Happy Monday guys! :thumbsup2

Morning Guys!

Yes it is. But what would the tourists be doing there? It was my first time up there, and I didn't really have any time to see anything.

That part of Nova Scotia gets a lot of tourists but they would only be there in the summer months. They surely wouldn't be there when you were there.

You would think with all the time they have to prepare they could do a good job officiating games. There have been a number of games that have been officiated very poorly.

Keep me informed maybe we can meet up:banana:

I am heading down to drive my FIL back. Right now my plan in to head down on Easter Sunday and I hope to get a day at the one of the parks. I think we will be leaving to come home on the Thursday so other than that I pretty flexible.

Morning Paul!

Welcome home.

Top O the Morning Dads and congrats to the Pats, Pack & Colts fans. Did I just congratulate Packers fans - gonna be a long week:sick: Have a good week guys and enjoy tonight's game.

A little bragging. She finished her 3rd Disney Marathon.
Congrats and hope her knees recovered
