Morning guys! Really glad I'm not down in WDW with all those other suckers right now. It's cold enough for a sweatshirt! Ha! Who goes to florida to wear sweatshirts???

Yeah, really glad to not be in WDW this week due to the weather. I really need to find a way to close the quarter from a remote location.

Top O the Morning lads and happy Friday Eve Not sure how many keep up on this kind of stuff but the walls are up around Sorcerer's Hat at DHS as the tear down of it has begun. Sad to see it go as that is the symbol the kids recognize with Studios. Glad we got one last family pic in front of last week.

Park wasn't there when I was a kid and the hat was there when we started taking the kids so that is all we have ever known. It will be interesting being able to see all the way down the street. What will the new park icon be? Back to the water tower maybe?

We went to WDW for the first time in 2008, so I don't know any different. I'm curious to see if Disney throws a curveball and put something else up in its place.

Park wasn't there when I was a kid and the hat was there when we started taking the kids so that is all we have ever known. It will be interesting being able to see all the way down the street. What will the new park icon be? Back to the water tower maybe?

I had seen some pictures of park merchandise late last year that showed the water tower instead of the hat. That was before the announcement was made that they were removing the hat and it really stirred up the boards.

Not sure what they are gonna do as it sounds like they are gonna expand Pixar & Star Wars presence at DHS plus the whole Turner Classic Movies now sponsoring / tie in with the Great Movie Ride.

Yes, you will laugh, but I do not care, IT WAS FREAKING COLD THIS MORNING! Wind was howling and the wind chill was 20-30 in Central Florida. I was not this FREAKING COLD in a while. We were up early to brave the FREAKING COLD to go to the Mickey Miles podcast breakfast. Very nice event in a lounge in the Living Seas. Glad we went.

We left yesterday an hour late but made it up here with no incident. Went to the race Expo that night and she registered for the full. I also met with Adam and Tony where I accidentally dropped our bibs for the 5K and when I turned around, they were gone.

Started today with the breakfast and basically stayed in Epcot. Did most things at the Living Seas also Soarin and Spaceship.

Went to check in at BWV early in the morning and the computer system was down. OK, I can understand it but expressed concern that when I checked in later, less inventory available meant less possibility of changing my room to meet my preferences. The CM took my name and said they would again note it. Checked in at 2:30, the room I was given is crap.

Will try to post pictures later.

So I normally like to blame the cold weather on our Canadian friends, but I just got home from 2 days in Nova Scotia, and it was warmer there, by about 5 degrees, than it was here.

Morning fellow dads!!! Hope all the DDCC3 days are having a good time, by some of the group pictures it looks like they have fun covered!! We have 5 sleeps and 4 work days till we leave for DL and I am packing extra sanitizer for the measles scare

Morning, men. Another 2 hour delay for my kids' school. 3rd day this week. Winter is officially here.

It's warmer here today and there is no wind chill. A little bit of snow, just enough to make it greasy. Just south of us they are getting blizzard like conditions.

DW's school is still closed but now they are saying it is air quality. They are suppose to open on Monday.

Good Morning and Happy Friday. It's like a beach day here today, supposed to hit 36F. DD has one game this weekend. Tomorrow my team gets to play on the TD Garden court at half time of our high school game and then we get to tour the locker rooms and stuff. Should be a fun morning.

Good luck to all those running the half and full this weekend! For those enjoying the weekend of DDCC3, keep on having fun.

Looks like the August trip is back on. DS told DW he really wanted to go so of course it's OK now. When DD and I were the force behind it, we were thinking of scrapping it. Never underestimate the mom/son bond. At least DD still listens to me, at least for now.

If only it were that easy my friend. The craziness will last another week or so.

Sorry about the room and the loss of the bibs. Did you run/walk the 5K? How did it go? Wish PP good luck on Sunday! I will be sleeping in after the patriots victory party when we win over Randall's Ravens. Make him buy you a dole whip.

I read that article and it's a little scary, but not unexpected given the number of people and the opportunity for something like this to happen. I'm sure by the time you get there everything will have been cleaned and certainly the initial case that starting it is no longer around. Have fun.

So you didn't get to run in the 5K? Think there would be a better system then that. Sorry to hear about the room. I don't make requests anymore. I know the resort, so I figure that is just park of the excitement. I've had a couple less desirable rooms, but most have been a pleasant surprise I would never have requested.

With as many people visit WDW & DL, there has to be many that don't vaccinate their children. We've all probably been exposed several times, but didn't get the disease because of immunities.

That's only about a 5 hour drive from here, you should have swung by.

36 in Boston when only a high of 27 here in Nashville - WT......... The TD Garden things sounds great, have a blast. DW was not as big on Disney as the rest of us back in the day. I would catch some noise about "another WDW trip" scared1 but when DS got upset at her about not wanting to go to the family's favorite place it all changed, but when I said the same thing........ Enjoy that DD listening to you while you can cause as much as me and DD have a solid relationship, there are some things they just won't listen to you on as evident by her not only having a BF, but having to take him to DaWorld for his first visit......................

We have a middle school tournament here, a team that I have ended up coaching until mid-February. About half of the players are from our club team and the consensus is that this will just be for some fun.
