I also get 2 vacation days and 1 sick day a month. I've accumulated about 3 months of leave between the 2 accounts as it rolls over from year to year.

I did receive a 10 page glossy, color photo book in the mail with a plan for campus revitalization underway. Then, an all out email saying how budgets are being cut.

Has everything, heated steering wheel, leather heaters seat front and back. Sirius w/ travel link or something. Tells you the weather, gas even movies playing in the area your in.
Side, front collision avoidance, load your picture in the radio and they will scroll by as you drive. Lol There's a lot more.
They took almost 9k off the sticker w/ rebates and discounts. Gave me 25,500 for the Benz. That was the upper end according to Kelly Blue.
I'm sure they made money but I was happy. I'm starting out with almost 17k in equity off the sticker.
I hate them finance guys, got to watch every step along the way. Crooks without guns. Lol

I think we caught it at less than $100 spent but I've spent over 3 hours on hold with various people trying to get things cancelled, fraud alerts etc and it isn't done yet, but I don't have the patience to do more tonight. I've got some piano wire I would love to make the thief intimately acquainted with.

That bites, hope you got it all worked out.


DS and DW got another day off today because of a potential storm that is suppose to be lots of freezing rain before turning into rain and then getting stupid cold tomorrow. This has been the case each of the last 3 Wednesdays. So far I'm seeing no storm outside my office window.

Sorry about the headaches. Had that happen to us once while at DaWorld and had to have new card sent to us at Beach Club.

Have dealt with that foolishness four separate times in less than ten years.
That’s why I carry very few total cards and check my account statuses at least once a day.
It seems that normal isn’t worrying about whether you’ll get a card hacked, but more rather when and how quick you can react.

Sounds like you came out fairly well in the deal; especially if you’re pleased with the new ride.

Of course you know I’d have sold you my van for about $3500 and you could have pocketed all the proceeds from the sale of the Benz. Mine don’t come with heated anything and boasts no connection what so ever to any satellite orbiting any planet.

…but it goes, stops and don’t break down very often.

Schools have gotten a mite over cautious when it comes to weather.
They’ll let you fuss at them if that’s the cost, but they really don’t want to be exposed to legal ramifications related to transporting everyone’s kids to and form.

May it not be as bad is the forecasts sound up that way.

Not much going on down here. The kid is on break but is staying in NJ and I am just doing crap stuff.

DS got some good news last night, he made the JV Volleyball team at his high school. We knew he had the talent and the skill but given the problems he had with two of the coaches last fall we fully expected them to cut him out of spite.

Congrats to Declan, hope he has a better experience this year.

I look at all the folks around me and all I can figure is that they must be in debt up to their eyeballs.

That used to be me but now I am completely debt free. Own the house, car, all the crap in the house... plus no credit cards. Could use a new car but I am not going to get a loan to pay for it. Waiting until I have enough to pay cash for a late model used car.

Sounds about the same as what I do. Except I look for new FPs as soon as I've used up my last regular one.

Rumors going around that you will soon be able to use the mobile app. to get the 4th FP. That would be welcome news.

Happens all the time to me. BoA is always sending me notices on potential threat to my card and here is a new one. Now I have one card that pays the bills that is locked in the safe and another I have for everyday use. Saves the hassle of contacting all the companies that use the one card to pay my bills.

Florida faded bad this year. They went from a tourney team to maybe not making the NIT. I do have one team to root for in the NCAAs, Seton Hall. Number three in the Big East. Thinking I would love for the Pirate Princess and I see them play in the first round. Not likely but will wait and see where they are going to play.

Happy Wednesday. After tennis yesterday AM and working out with DW last night, I am sore. But, the yoga pants were worth it last night.

That's the reason I still can't close my credit card and go solo to debit card. Yes, I know I'm not liable for fraud either way, but with my debit card, the cash is missing and I'm at the mercy of waiting for the bank to return/ refund it.

DW left a bag at Wilderness Lodge with her asthma medicine in it. Disney found it and shipped it back to us, maybe next day. A wonderful example of customer service.

Same here. I paid for my own college debt free, but when I got married, I lost my mind and financed the house, car, furniture. Thankfully, I came to my senses and we only have house debt, which should be paid off in 5 more years.

He wasn't happy with me last night at practice. He was the last one out of the house. I asked him if he shut the door. He said yes. I asked him if it was locked. He said yes. Half way through practice, I get a text from DW, asking why I felt it necessary to leave the door wide open in 15° weather. (She used much more colorful language which is now allowed on the family-friendly Disboards.) At the end of practice, we split into 2 teams for agility drills. Losing team had to do extra pushups. His team won, but I announced that he would be doing the pushups as well until he learns to shut the door.

We are the opposite in that whatever we can put on the Southwest Visa for points we do and then I pay balance every month. Have not paid interest on a CC in over 15 years. I also own all cars only thing I owe on is the house and only 9 years left on that.

I still write checks for a few things, just not at the grocery. I don't go into the bank for cash, but since my window no longer rolls down (motor), I have to stand next to the ATM.
