DIS Dads DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Dads of the DIS talk about life, bacon, Disney, bacon, kids, bacon, cars, bacon, family life, and lots of other fun stuff! And beer. And bacon.
Hoping for a better day today than yesterday. Our middle school volleyball team was upset in the semi-finals of our district championship, then I came home to watch the Habs lose to Tampa and to top it all of our dog passed on during the night. A bit of an emotional morning here, we're going to miss our Betsey.

Sorry to hear about Betsey - I hope Declan is holding up OK.

Oh, man. So sorry to hear about the loss of your pup.
It's never easy losing a beloved family member.

Sorry to hear about Betsey. Doesn't sound like it was a good day at all. Will be thinking of you while you are taking care of things today.

So sorry to hear about Betsey. Hope your day is a better one

Thanks Guys.

We don't really know what was wrong with her; I thought she had developed some allergies over the last couple of weeks. She lost her appetite and didn't have a lot of energy. We did see this coming over the last couple of days but it still was a rough morning. One of the hardest things I've ever done was carry her up the stairs to take her to the jeep this morning. She is being cremated and we will most likely bury her in the backyard next week.

She has been with us for a few years and before that we looked after her for an older couple when they were travelling, not really looking forward to telling them. We took her when they sold their house and moved into an apartment. They had pets for a long time and it was difficult for them to give her up.

Darcy, sorry to hear about Betsey. Hope Declan and the rest of the family are doing OK. Don't envy you telling the former owners.

Morning, checking in, have a few free minutes of time here, always feels busy though, my work schedule has been erratic, lots of shift changes, and extra tie put in. Built up a little time owing, which I can use Friday, to get an early start to a rare long weekend off. Getting hyped that I'm down to 3 months to go before the return to the World.
Congrats on getting down to 3 months - just think only 30 days away from dining and FP+!

Much appreciated guys. I think I can add the cat to the mix of people feeling off today. He's spent a lot of the day wandering around the house.
