Top O the Morning Dads! Trust all the Mom's and single Dads had a great day yesterday. Flowers are planted and potted, took DW, MIL and family out to dinner, kids got DW stuff on their own and Mom got a Minnie watch and wine glass from me so all went well and all are happy.

Yup, folks. My wife enjoys the Avengers and draft beer. I definitely got it good.

Yea, me thinks you out-kicked your coverage their you lucky man. Glad the family had a good M-Day.

Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend and had a fine Mother's day as well.

We helped our young'en get everything moved back home for the summer break. That's two years down, two more to go. The boy remembered to get his momma a card and a bit of a treat, which actually surprised her and brightened her day. Took MIL, SIL and DW out for Mother's Day dinner then hung a new light fixture in MIL's dinning room. Got repaid for the efforts in Key Lime Pie, so I'd say everyone made out pretty well.

A lot of work will be interfering with life this week, unfortunatly.
I'll check in when I can but y'all take care ya' hear?

Good to hear the boy is back home safe and sound. Now about the increase in that grocery bill and electric bill while he's back home..........

I had a different but similar thing happen the other night.
I was coming home from work on my bike. A young kid pull up beside me at the light.
I glance over and he's wildly waving thumb's up at me.
So just for fun, I smoked him off the lights.

It's pretty impressive that you can smoke the tires on a Huffy. You must work out.

DS decided to leave DW along for Mother's Day, I think she appreciated that. Actually we all went out for breakfast first.

I cooked her dinner only to hear "will you be upset if I tell you I'm not hungry right now?" I replied, "No but I'm eating."

Afternoon Gents,

Nothing much going on here except working around the house. Need gallons of fluids because the sun is beating down with lots of humidity. Finished and sent off a major grant while the kid is heading down the home stretch with one more final and a paper. Looks like summer is quickly hurtling towards us.

Today I am kinda having a moment of Zen, and as Dr Doofenchmirtz would say "Oh what a unexpected surprise , and by unexpected, I mean completely expected, Today marks 30 days ago we were at the airport leaving WDW, in 30 days from today we will be on a plane almost at Orlando airport around now, when we head back from the next trip, it is exactly 30 days till we head back again

We had a good Mother's Day. I took DW and the family to see the new Avengers movie. Then, after Mass tonight, we went to eat and enjoyed some good draft beers. Yup, folks. My wife enjoys the Avengers and draft beer. I definitely got it good.

Met your lovely better half and you do have it good. Was impressed when she said, "Go ahead and have another beer, I'll drive to Vero."

A decidedly Zen moment. Trying to figure out how to get to the World before the January trip but it isn't looking good. May drive the kid back to school this fall and may take a side trip then. Who knows.

Morning, checking in, have a few free minutes of time here, always feels busy though, my work schedule has been erratic, lots of shift changes, and extra tie put in. Built up a little time owing, which I can use Friday, to get an early start to a rare long weekend off. Getting hyped that I'm down to 3 months to go before the return to the World.

Hoping for a better day today than yesterday. Our middle school volleyball team was upset in the semi-finals of our district championship, then I came home to watch the Habs lose to Tampa and to top it all of our dog passed on during the night. A bit of an emotional morning here, we're going to miss our Betsey.
