Tonite was kind of interesting, I decieded that it was about time to start the Mustangs (one can be heard over a block away without any special add ons


) anyway the kid next door 16yrs old immediately popped over the fence to see what all the noise was about, and he was in awe

he said these were cars you hear about but very seldom see

, he then said you are a engine guy but he likes auto body, when I told him I did all the body work and have 4 degrees in the field although from the 80's with 2 engine degrees , he then said you are the real deal, he takes auto body class in vo-tech and they basically only teach how to replace parts and a lot of parts are now glued on, they don't really teach how to weld anymore or even how to use body filler

, I told him I don't know any of those new ways to fix anything, so maybe we can learn from each other to find the best way to repair something on a car, when he left he said if your going to fix anything to let him know he would like to see the old school way of doing it

, To me this shows there is still hope for todays youth
