Good Morning!

Early morning here, have to get DD up pretty soon as we are doing a special Disney Store Halloween Dress Rehearsal event before the store opens.

Hope everyone is doing well! I will be doing my best not to smack talk Mike today, I'll just say Go Preds!!

Doesn't exactly go with the Monty Python skit but it is appropriate. Downloaded pics and video of the trip and remembered seeing the lumberjack show at WS. I wanted to give it a chance, I was not a die hard kilt boy fan, but this show is BAD. I mean embarrassingly BAD. In line with the thread's name, this show is a BAD IDEA!

You choose sides between two teams based on where you are standing. You are supposed to encourage your "team" to win the competition. I could have cared less. In the words of Bob and Doug McKenzie, "You're a hoser." "No, you're a hoser." Look it up you young pups.

First of all, the announcer guy is REALLY BAD. He tries to generate enthusiasm but has no personality and is REALLY BAD AT IT. The first competition was an axe toss at a target. The person on my team was a "Lumberjill" and do I need to say, SHE WAS REALLY BAD. I have a daughter and want women to succeed in everything they want to do, but this girl needs to go back to the Yukon. The following youtube is her first two throws at the target. They were the closest she got.

Needless to say, I put down the camera and watched just a bit more before heading to the Canada kiosk for cheddar cheese soup and their mini filet. Luckily I did not have it before the show or I may have tossed it back while watching. If I was Canada, i would send an ultimatum to the US, "Get rid of this show or we are declaring war."

As an aside, I did see for the first time the Canada film. Funny and somewhat informative but there was no apology for Back Bacon, Eh. Again, look up the McKenzie brothers.

Good morning all. It is currently 50 degrees outside here, with the high only to be 60. I miss that Florida weather. At least the skies are clear and no more rain today.

Afternoon, men. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Got through 2 soccer games in 55* weather. It was also windy and rainy. Happy to be back home. We were so busy, the birthday did not get to even open her presents last night. I fell asleep while she was opening them this afternoon.

Trying to be productive. I have 5 more tie dye shirts to make for our trip. Tomorrow is Church and then family coming over to celebrate DDs bday. The Disney trip can't come soon enough!

Spent the last two days at our first ever physical literacy summit. Had lots of great sessions but when you add in the evening social, it was a long couple of days. Home for a day and then off to our Nation's capital for some meetings. Starting to hit conference and travel season for me.

Gotta credit Preds D and Hutton for this game so far. By the stats Hawks should be killing it. Proud of my Preds! Steal a win at the Madhouse! 3rd period is stressing me out!! And didn't credit Preds PK, way to many stupid penalties!
Well boo, Hate that Preds lost in OT, esp a short handed goal but a very tough game to steal a point out of.

Good morning all. Yesterday was a completely free day and it was wonderful. Today, it is back to the full schedule - CCD, soccer, Youth Group, and Mass - in two different cities.

Bad day yesterday. Gators stunk up the field and I imagine "Coach Wanted" ads are being written in Gainesville. Like Muschamp but something needs to change. Worse yet, the remote broke! I had to actually get up off the couch to change channels. Haven't had to do that since I was a kid. Oh the humanity.

NFL Ownage

Morning/afternoon fellow dads! Well my Preds lost in OT to the Hawks last night, now hoping to see a Titans win and doing some cleaning. Have to go get a flu shot and DD flu nasal spray today. My SIL will have my nephew Lucas this week so that's exciting and another reason for the flu stuff.
I finally posted my eBay stuff this morning, hopefully I can sell a lot of it and put towards my St. Jude fundraising, have some Disney stuff if any of y'all are interested ( movingsell21 )

Nope, that stays at the restaurant.....hold on...I could sell some chicken out of my room at Port Orleans and help pay for this vacation. Not a bad idea...

Well we are here! Rock Hill, SC. Checked in to the Hampton Inn and had my free cookie. Ready for some dinner, going to drive around a bit and see what we can find.
Tomorrow, we will be at the World for Dinner.

No real traffic today, pretty much clear sailing. We were also fortunate enough to miss Bridge Day, it was yesterday. We happened upon this event last year and were tied up in traffic for 1-1/2 hours.

I will be posting some pics here of our trip, hope you fellas don't mind I'm not a Facebook guy and I just don't have time to write a full TR.

Good luck on the fundraising and training.

Thank you Norm, I have awhile to raise it all , about 180 days but never to early to start. Now that the knee is feeling better, training will start this week for the Star Wars Half and races after that. Might do a thanksgiving type race locally.
